1. The purpose of journalism is to provide a service to the public by
the dissemination and analysis of news and other information
2. The fundamental of journalism are truth, disclosure, and editorial
independence.
3. journalism media can vary diservely, from print publishing to
electronic broadcasting and from newspaper to television
channels, as well as to the web, and to digital technology.
4. Besides news media there were broader forms of expression,
including literature and cinema.
5. The role of news media in democratic society is access to free
information plays a central role in creating a system of checks and
balance, and in distribting power equally between goverments,
business, individuals, and other social entities.

people increasingly consume news through e-readers, smartphones, and
other electronic devices.
7. News organizations react to the increased news consumption through
electronic devices by consume news through e-readers, smartphones
and etc.
8. Citizen journalism is people who using video camera equipped
smartphones to record of news events and upload them onto some
channels using internet and share it.
9. The relationship between digital era and a new kind of journalism in
which ordinary citizens play greater role in the process of newsmaking,
with the rise of citizen journalism being possible through the internet.
10. In our opinion, Indonesian journalism have reflected too with digital
era that using internet in many kinds of their news. They are the
millennials journalism style that more interested with digital technology
rather than printed media.

adhere to journalistic standards, can also be a service to ordinary
citizens
