Persuasive Essay On Home Alone
Most people never thought of what it would be like to have your wish come true, and at the same
time having to face the scariest thing as a kid all in just two days. One thing is true for a fact that we
do love our family greatly, yet we all have taken our anger out on our family also by saying some
things that we probably shouldn't have, causing our emotions to take over and have no control over
what happens next. Therefore, in a film as a kid Kevin McCallister (a 9–year–old) decides to take all
his anger out on his family after being name called and teased. His mom then sends him to the attic
where he then tells her that he hates his family, but that he also wishes to never see them again. His
wish did, in fact, come true, he was left home alone on Christmas Eve while his family was on
vacation. The thing is he has to face two robbers in an event of the battle of good vs. evil just to save
his house, nor does he have anyone to look up too. But does he? Having no family there makes it
even harder, and Kevin soon realizes that maybe his family is what matters most. This film is called
Home Alone, In the film Home Alone, the storyteller uses the archetype the "hero's" regrets and the
"mentor's" advice to illustrate that we as humans tend to say rude and hurtful things towards the
people we love the most when we are angry because we don't appreciate what we have until we lose
it, and we don't realize how thankful we are for our family until something happens where we need

Essay about Howard Stern
How might one explain Howard Stern? Yes, he is a refreshing change from the typical, politically
correct figure, and he provides humor and sex for late night audiences who are growing weary of
Leno and Letterman. And while Howard Stern, shock jock turned television host, is more on the
same wavelength as a Jerry Springer than a late night comic, Stern has always claimed––like
Jerry––that his show is just an act.
The idea that Howard Stern could come close––but not too close––to naked women on his television
show, might have created the impression that this was just an act after all. He would say things that
any other husband could not get away with, and it was okay, because it ... Show more content on

Although he has achieved remarkable success for an unremarkable act, he is obviously not happy in
his personal life. What Stern continues to do is to integrate his radio persona with real life and in
some ways, he cannot separate the two. What most people know about Stern's one big mistake had
nothing to do with a lesbian bimbo getting too close, but rather his talking about Alison's
miscarriage on the air. That is what most know about Howard Stern. His life has been aired in the
film Private Parts and he tells the world how he feels every day. While he is flamboyant, and pushes
the envelope, one thing is true. Howard Stern is at least consistent. What does this mean? While
Stern on one hand objectifies women on the show, and then talks about his wife lovingly, that is a
contradiction. But he maintains that this act is just that and both parts of that personality co–exist.
Many wonder why the show is still on the air as it is somewhat offensive and really does nothing
new, even as the years go by. Ratings had in fact dropped for this successful host, but they soon
picked up again. Donovan reported that while Stern's Saturday night show had been in the doldrums,
the marital breakup had helped ratings (Donovan 226). But one question remains. What will Stern
do now that he is on available again?
That is not an easy one to answer.

Daniel's Interpretation Of King Nebuchadnezzar
Daniel 2:43–49, an excerpt from Daniel's interpretation of King Nebuchadnezzar, shows the power
of God's connection with his children. Daniel, during the explanation of Nebuchadnezzar's dream,
depicts a statue with a head made of gold, the chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze,
its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay (6). Daniel then tells Nebuchadnezzar that he
is the head of gold, the silver part of the statue is an inferior kingdom that will replace him, and the
bronze part is a third nation that will "rule over the whole earth." As you advance down the statue,
the iron kingdom will be one that "crushes and smashes everything." Then the kingdom will be
divided, which is symbolized by the clay and iron feet. Finally, a stone will be thrown at the statue;
this stone was a symbol of God's Kingdom and this kingdom will stand forever (4). As Daniel told
this to King Nebuchadnezzar, the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He believed that the only reason why Daniel would know how to interpret his dream the way he did
was by being the direct words from God. Nebuchadnezzar saw Daniel's God as the Revealer of
secrets and the secrets held within his dream was opened by the messenger of God, Daniel. Since
Daniel was the messenger of God, Nebuchadnezzar believed that he must reward him with the
highest honor and show him respect. I find it interesting in the fact that the King does not dismiss
the other gods, but instead says that God is the God of all Gods. I find that quite hypocritical as the
second commandments say "You shall have no other gods before Me" (Exodus 20:3 NKJV).
Nebuchadnezzar goes against the second commandment and refers to other gods when referring to

Alfred Binet
ALFRED BINET AN OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION TO SOCIETY. BY DOLORES ALLEN
Alfred Binet – Psychologist Born July 8, 1857 in Nice, France Died October 18, 1911, aged 54
Introduction Alfred Binet was one of the most influential psychologists in history. He developed the
first Intelligence Quotient (IQ) test, which was to become used throughout the world. Whilst he
pioneered intelligence testing, he also influenced other psychologists to explore and expand on the
testing, such as Theodore Simone, Lewis Madison Terman, Henry Herbert Goddard and Jean Piaget.

special needs children). They wanted to devise a test to measure a variety of psychological abilities,
which included imagery, attention, comprehension, imagination, judgments of visual space, and
memory for various stimuli. Binet did not believe that simple sensory testing was a true and accurate
way to determine a person's intelligence. Binet never intended for his test to measure ones
intelligence but to measure ones intelligence in regards to their behaviors. Binet and Simon
compiled a collection of tests which incorporated various tasks which they deemed would highlight
children's abilities at various ages. They based the tasks on their many years of observing children,
imparticularly the observations Binet had made in regard to his own two daughters. In 1905 Binet
and Simon tested their measurements on another fifty children whom their school teachers
considered to be of average intelligence for their ages. This test was to enable Binet to examine the
levels of intelligent behaviors between children of the same age. Some of the tests on Binets scale
were very simple, including asking a child to follow the direction of movement of a lighted match,
and then maybe slightly harder was to repeat back a three digit sequence of numbers or sentences.
There were a few harder tests involved which would require a child to make a sentence out of
maybe three or four words, or to reproduce a drawing from memory.

Tim Donaghy Case Summary
Introduction Edwin J. Delattre describes in "Some Reflections on Success and failure in
Competitive Athletics" that competitive athletics require a touchstone relationship of competitors'
i.e. that competitors have a moral and logical obligation to not engage in cheating. Competitive
sports leagues and organizations have taken several measures to achieve competitive balance or
fairness in regards to the spirit of competition. Competitive leagues have implemented the draft
process to ensure that teams with the worst records are able to acquire top draft pick players to help
improve losing teams, and salary caps to prevent a select few teams from acquiring all of the

up penniless having saved 1,200 Polish Jews from certain death in concentration camps.

Purpose Statement: In 1992, congress passed the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act to
outlaw sports gambling in 46 states. Although sports gambling has been banned, it is still happening
under the table. In 2018, the NBA's support under present Commissioner Adam Silver for
nationwide legalized sports gambling is reaching new heights. This analysis is to discover the
history of sports gambling and the NBA's attitude to sports gambling.
Research Questions: Should sports gambling be legalized? If sports gambling is legalized, what can
the NBA get from it and what should the NBA do?

The Book Of Daniel
Although it has not always been recognized as management, management has been around since the
beginning of human kind. Management functions can even be seen in the Bible. In the book of
Daniel, Daniel is seen using the four management functions: planning, organizing, leading, and
controlling.
Planning
Through careful planning, Daniel was given permission to not defile himself with the portion of the
king's meat, nor with his wine. Daniel, a man of the Lord, had purposed in his heart to obey the
Lord. He knew that if he ate of the king's meat, and drank of the king's wine that the Lord would not
be pleased. Daniel made a request to the prince of the eunuchs to be excused from eating the king's
meat. Daniel 1:8 says, "But Daniel purposed ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Melzar. Daniel 1:15 says, "And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter
in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat." They had achieved a fairer
and fatter countenance than those that ate of the king's meat. Then Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and
Azariah went before the king and proved to the king that they were far superior than all the other
men that stood before the king as stated in Daniel 1:19–20, "And the king communed with them;
and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood
they before the king. And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of
them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his
realm." Daniel used the controlling function when he outperformed all the other men.
Application: I can apply this function by comparing my team to the other teams around me. By
comparing my team to other teams, I can asses and fix the areas I need to improve in by comparing
my team to other teams. Also, I can observes the areas that I have been successful in and continue
doing what I am doing.

Essay on Schindler's List
Schindler's List
Schindler's List is one of the most powerful movies of all time. It presents the indelible true story of
enigmatic German businessman Oskar Schindler who becomes an unlikely saviour of more than
1100 Jews amid the barbaric Nazi reign. A German Catholic war profiteer, Schindler moved to
Krakow in 1939 when Germany overran Poland. There he opens an enamelware factory that, on the
advice of his Jewish accountant Itzhak Stern, was staffed by Jews from the nearby forced labour
camp at Plaszow. Schindler's factory prospered though his contacts with the Nazi war machine and
its local representatives, as well as his deft skill on the black market. Then, somewhere along the
way, Schindler's devotion to self–interest was ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
To think that this self centred man would become known for a shining moment of salvation for so
many is almost beyond belief. Oskar Schindler is not a humanitarian or a force for ?good? in the
typical sense. He is depicted within the film as a man that simply found himself in a unique position
and rose to the occasion. Evil on the other hand, is epitomised throughout the film by the actions of
those involved in the Nazi regime, in particular Amon Goeth who was in charge of the forced labour
camp at Plaszow.
However, emotion is not only conveyed through the actions of the main characters. Colour also has
a significant impact on how good and evil is portrayed within the film. Perhaps the most moving
image in Steven Spielberg?s epic, Schindler?s List, condenses all of the sadism of the Nazi regime
into one small pictorial area. One of only four colour images in a black and white film spanning
over three hours, the little girl in a red coat, making her way, aimless and alone through the madness
and chaos, compels Schindler?s attention during the liquidation of the Jewish ghetto. Schindler
identifies with the child, the plight of the little girl touches him in a way the sheer numbers make
unreal ? this image transforms the faceless mass around him into one palpable human being. This
figure serves as a moral reawakening for Schindler, his conscience consequently kicks into gear. The
poignant yet subtle musical score also adds to the haunting atmosphere created by the

Schindler's List by Thomas Keneally Essay
Schindler's List by Thomas Keneally
Thomas Keneally has accomplished his goal with Schindler's List. It beautifully and completely
realizes the honest story of a man who was an astounding leader in every respect. This book
captures with accuracy and poignancy a part of history that every member of every society must
know about and never forget, and to do it in novel form is a sign of Keneally's extraordinary
ingenuity. To begin with, Oskar Schindler's embodiment of the leadership characteristics we have
discussed in class is evident. Charisma, perhaps our most highly discussed quality, is his trademark.
Schindler cleverly finds ways to relate to the SS officers and soldiers not only through bribes of high
class gifts, but through ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Perhaps we could compare him to another leader, President William Jefferson Clinton, in his
exemplification of charisma. Another trait crucial to Schindler's leadership is the ability to shrewdly
harness the skills of others. The most obvious example of this ability is his employment of the
Jewish accountant Itzhak Stern. Despite the fact that Stern is Jew, Schindler knows he is the best
man to help run his business and keep track of his finances and contacts. He immediately recognizes
Stern's ability and puts his trust in him. Likewise, Schindler's utilization of Poldek Pfefferberg to
connect him to the black market is an equally important union. His trust in Pfefferberg also
demonstrates his strong character judgment. Moreover, another apparent manifestation of this
quality is Schindler's use of the Jews in his factory. Besides the fact that they were inexpensive, he
knew that they would be dependable and efficient. Finally, our leader develops an ongoing
partnership with the evil Hauptsturmfuhrer Amon Goeth to get what he needs, his workers. We
could similarly compare Schindler's recognition of trustworthy people and sense of opportunity in
taking advantage of the skills of others to leaders we have discussed in class like Ross Perot.
Perhaps most importantly, compassion is what Schindler may be most remembered for. Despite his
image as a shrewd, opportunistic businessman, the entrepreneur

High School And College Basketball
Although some think the decision to go to the National Basketball Association should be solely in
the hands of the players and although current efforts ensure that basketball players are in college for
at least one year, the one–and–done rule needs to be revised because it destabilizes the college
basketball system, leaves players without a backup plan, and causes players to lack the wisdom to
make wise financial and life decisions.
The one–and–done rule concerns high school and college basketball players, but it hurts more than
just the players involved: it hurts the college basketball system. Because some of the best college

The former NBA star could not find a job, and although he was only 16 credits away from a college
degree, he could not afford to go back and finish his education (Gaines 1). If Harrison had stayed in
college to earn his degree before going to the NBA, his future would have had more potential. A
career in basketball is not a stable job because injuries, mistakes, and poor play can end a career. By
earning a degree before going to the NBA, players can obtain a solid backup plan and alleviate some
of the pressures they have on themselves.
In addition to basketball players leaving behind a backup plan when they leave college early for the
NBA, they also leave behind the wisdom and maturity gained in the college experience. The value
of the college experience cannot be weighed; however, it is evident when players are missing those
crucial life lessons. For example, NBA fans know DeMarcus Cousins and Michael Beasley for their
lack of maturity. They are defined by their rotten attitudes and off–the–court issues. Cousins'
immaturity has resulted in team suspensions, and Beasley's off–the–court conflicts have hurt his
play and reputation (Diaz 1). Cousins and Beasley are not the only players battling immaturity; there
are many NBA players who should have stayed in college to mature as players and men. Although
one–and–done players only miss out on three years of college, those

Introduction: The History of Snapple

successful brand Snapple, in Greenwich Village, New York. They saw a unique opportunity in the
beverage industry to sell all natural juices by appealing to the young and health conscious urban

getting rid of the Snapple personalities. Thus sales started to decline.
After 3 years, Quaker sold Snapple to Triarc. Mike Weinstein, CEO of Triarc Beverage Group,
wanted to develop a strategy that would revitalize the real, natural, and quirky image of Snapple.
And recreate the connection that Snapple had with its consumers.
Analysis
As Weinstein and Ken Gilbert assessed Snapple's situation, through market research study, it was
clear that the decline of the brand started the year it was sold to Quaker Oats. Evidence showed that
Quaker had created a mainstream brand out of Snapple, which went against the principles of the
brand and what consumers knew the brand to be.
Price
As the founders developed their brand, Snapple became part of the Alternative beverage industry,
which consisted of sports drinks, bottled water, 100% juice, non–premium beverages and premium
beverages. Snapple was the leading company in the premium category of the Alternative beverage
industry. Therefore, they could price their most successful products at a premium.

Essay on Censorship in Television and Radio
Censorship in Television and Radio
For our group project we, group 6, decided to focus our attention on censorship in television and on
the radio. We showed most of the attention to the Janet Jackson incident in Super Bowl 38 when
looking at television, and for radio, focused on the FCC and disc jockeys like Howard Stern. Here
are the television articles as done by three of our group members.
If there is a single most important event that happened in television that caused major ramifications,
it would be the Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction" during the halftime show at Super Bowl 38.

The television has responded to the scrutiny that they have been put under, not by rebelling, but
complying with these new rules and censoring themselves. For starters Victoria's Secret cancelled its
annual fashion show, on television, this year. Fox is trying to clean up its act by employing people to
monitor its star reality show, "American Idol", as well as other reality shows. Comcast Corporation
told Congress that it will increase its efforts to assist parents in choosing the right programming for
their children. In an interview with Survivor host Jeff Probst said that the producers were told to

Situational Leadership: Commissioner Adam Silver Impact on...
The employees are multimillionaires. The supervisors are multimillionaires and billionaires. The
customer base is close to a half billion persons. Do you want to be the Chief Executive Officer
(CEO) in such an organization? The working environment is a diversified, multicultural,
multiethnic, racially charged atmosphere (Price & Wolfers, 2010, p. 1859). The organization under
my microscope is the National Basketball Association (NBA). Price and Wolfers (2010, p. 1885)
found that the NBA have achieved high levels of racial equality across key working relationships.
Adam Silver is the current Commissioner of the NBA whose responsibilities include maintaining
racial harmony among NBA's key stakeholders.
Adam Silver's Leadership Style
Adam Silver has a background in law and was appointed Commissioner of the NBA on February 1,
2014 upon the retirement of the 30–year veteran, Commissioner David Stern (Boudway, 2014).
Stern, who was Silver's mentor, described Silver as a person who is calm, practical and possesses a
strong work ethic (Adam Silver, n.d.). Silver is an astute negotiator who played an instrumental role
in solving the players' lockout dispute in 2011 (Adam Silver, n.d.). He demonstrated humility of
character and a magnanimous spirit when he apologized to Magic Johnson based on unfair
comments made by the embattled Clippers team owner, Donald Sterling (Adam Silver apologizes to

Lesson 1 Assignment by Joanne Parsons
a. Identify at least two of the pioneers of the IQ testing movement and explain their contributions to
the field
Two of the pioneers of the IQ testing movement I chose were Alfred Binet (who collaborated with
his colleague Theodore Simon and Lewis Terman who also worked with Binet on the American
version.
Alfred Binet is a French psychologist who is known to have developed the very first practical
intelligence test which became the basis for contemporary intelligence tests. He worked with a
young medical student who was also his research assistant to come up with what became simply as
the Binet–Simon Scale. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Lewis Terman, a Stanford University psychologist is another pioneer in the field of IQ Testing
because he was instrumental in bringing the Binet–Simon Scale from France to the United States.
He adapted the test which became Stanford–Binet Intelligence Test and was widely used that it has
become the standard intelligence testing in the US. This was when the concept of intelligence
quotient (or IQ) was first introduced. Terman also contributed to the development of the first reliable
mass–group intelligence test during the World War 1 which was used by the U.S. Army Alpha and
Beta programs.
b. What do you think are some potential pros and cons of the use of IQ testing in schools?
There are two opposing sides when it comes to the issue of IQ testing in schools. Many advocates
believe that IQ testing is the best way to identify and assess children's levels of aptitude and that it is
useful in determining who amongst the general school population need additional specialized or
differentiated instruction and extra services (GATE or even IEP) that may not be otherwise be
provided for in a regular classroom. It is also a tool which can be taken advantage of to help teachers
prepare, develop and design better strategies that meet the requirements of all types of learners in
the classroom. Should there be perceived and observed learning challenges and disabilities,

High School to NBA: Good or Bad?
Mel Plantenga
College Composition P.4/5
March 6, 2013
Some of the greatest stars in the NBA were drafted straight out of high school. Lebron James, Kobe
Bryant, and Dwight Howard are just a few examples. Even though, as of 2006, the NBA eligibility
rule states that a player entering the NBA draft must be at least nineteen years old and a year
removed from high school, it is still a huge debate in the sports world of whether or not this rule is
the right choice. Before the rule was set in place, NBA commissioner David Stern said, "We have
the right to set an age limit in the collective bargaining agreement. I believe we can work together to
come up with something that is legally correct and will ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If the rule were to be changed to require two years of college, the players would be much more
experienced and would create a stronger group of rookies each year for the NBA. Imagine a young
man, straight out of high school, with dreams of playing in the NBA. What if he was one of the four
players who, between 1975 and 2001, declared for the draft straight out of high school never made it
to the NBA (Should high school players be eligible). What are his options after that? Sure, he could
always go to college, but what if he never applied to one? Another option is to play in a European
league, but how is an eighteen or nineteen year old expected to live on his own in a whole new
country? This is just one downfall to being able to enter the draft straight out of high school. While
many are successful, the young men who are not may be forced to give up their dream and must
make serious life decisions to move forward. For this reason alone, the rule should stay the same to
allow players to mature before they are able to enter the draft. The year of college basketball played
is monumental in the maturation of young players directly out of high school. High school
basketball is clearly a much different game than what is played in the NBA; the pace is slower and
the plays are far less complex. With this said, only few players are able to adapt to the fast pace of
the NBA straight out of high school. For the majority of the players unable to do so, their

Movie Review : ' The Great Gatsby '
Our movie appreciation class has crossed off a plethora of films off my viewing bucket list. I am
often intrigued by what is considered "great" by critics and am always eager to find out whether I
agree with them or ponder whether their sense of taste is impaired. I have travelled on both sides of
the spectrum and can honestly say that some movies I've viewed are blatantly awful while others
cannot be denied of their superiority. In either case I am appreciative of the opportunity to be
acquainted with such classic films. Even if I didn't like them, they still quenched the curiosity that I
had prior to the semester. My least favorite film was one I had the most anticipation for–Citizen
Kane. Numerous critics have declared it to be the greatest movie of all time and I couldn't disagree
more. I found the story hard to follow and I couldn't connect to any of the characters. Nonetheless,
the film still has its merits. It was one of the best examples of a film being used as a tool in
communication. The message was profound and it gave me a great deal to ponder. At the beginning
Charles Foster Kane was on his death bed and just before he passed away "rosebud" escaped his
lips. This unraveled a mystery that would never be figured out by the reporter wanting to truly know
the man behind the money and fame. Even though Kane was a well–known newspaper publisher
and had multiple marriages, there wasn't anyone who truly knew him. His wealth couldn't afford
him happiness. The

My Thoughts On The Girl Front Of A Mirror
The girl stood in front of a mirror. Her bleach blond hair hung in perfect formation, resting
purposefully on her shoulders. She ran her hands consciously and unconsciously through the

" I want to be in Playboy." She was looking at her own reflection, but she was talking to me.
I had heard her say this before so it wasn 't as much of a shock as it was an annoyance.
"You 're crazy," I said with dismissal. We had this conversation so frequently that I had programmed

I was getting her fired up. "And yeah, Marilyn Monroe I would compare to the

"Don 't give me that crap. It 's not art, it 's porn. Anything that people masturbate to is porn."
I said defiantly. Just then she changed her face in the way that only pretty girls can.
"People might masturbate to you. Does that make you porn?" My cheeks filled up with a scornful
red and my ears felt hot, like bath water pumped through my veins."That 's not the same thing," I
protested quietly. She defeated me, even if it was for just that second. She must have known this,
because she was the one to continue the conversation.
"I 'm going tomorrow, and I want you to come with me." I had at this point somewhat come to my
senses and stopped screaming at her.

"Because, I don 't want to alone. It 's in the city, and you're my only friend who won 't tell anybody

Analysis Of Alfred Binet And Lewis Terman On Intelligence...
1. When comparing Alfred Binet and Lewis Terman on their approaches to intelligence testing there
are some similarities amongst the two. One such similarity would be regarding content. Alfred
Binet's approach to intelligence testing consisted of tests that ranged in difficulty levels from easy to
hard. These tests required one to demonstrate his or her own cognitive ability, decision making, and
verbal skills. Lewis Terman's approach to intelligence testing was an updated version of Binet's.
Terman also used cognitive ability, decision making, and verbal skills in his testing; however, he
added mathematics, attention span, and processing skills. However, their purposes for intelligence
testing were quite different from one another. Alfred ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This view believes that the body and mind are two separate entities from each other, and that they
function separately from each other. Lewis Terman's view of philosophy was that of pragmatism, in
which it relies on more of a practical nature. This view believes that principles of merit should be
based solely on one's workability, effectiveness, and practical ideas. Technical advances for Alfred
Binet would be the fact that he had measures ranging in different difficulty levels. Binet also had a
proper scoring technique in which he matched an individual's mental age with their actual physical
age. Alfred Binet did not create a suitable standardization model. Lewis Terman created a way for
Alfred Binet's intelligence test to be standardized. He included a measure of intelligence quotient
and renamed it the Stanford–Binet Intelligence Test. Lewis Terman's technical advances also shone a
light on individuals that scored in the extreme areas.

The whirlwind relationship of Twyla & Roberta. Friendships tend to change over time, for better or

Roberta are a rollercoaster from the moment they meet at the orphanage, to their confrontational
meeting at the Howard Johnsons, to the picketing during segregation, until the end when they try

their lives, Roberta actually calls out to Twyla in a grocery checkout line. When they begin to talk,
Roberta asks if her Twyla's mother is sick as well, meaning that what she said last time they met isn't
correct, that she was still sick. They begin to reminisce, remembering how Roberta's mother had the

about her mother, asking if she got well, which she never did, a nice way of saying she passed away.
Later on, during the picketing and everything, Twyla notices Roberta picketing with a sign larger

sickness herself that could destroy their friendship. They begin arguing over whether or not when

Daniel Vs Ezekiel Essay
Ezekiel and Daniel are alike and different in many ways. Yes, both were Major Prophets called by
God. The history we learn about these prophets should teach us many things that we as Christians
are called to know.
Name:
The names Daniel and Ezekiel are similar in the fact that they were both taken from Hebrew and
both are named after their authors. The difference is apparent when we look at the meaning of the
names. Daniel means "God is Judge" or God is my Judge", whereas Ezekiel means "God
strengthens" or "strengthened by God".
Theme:
There's not much similarity in the themes of these books except that in both books, God's grace is
plainly shown. That is about where the similarities end. From there, Ezekiel's theme is focused on
the condemnation of Israel for their sin. Ezekiel is also a prophecy that the fall of Jerusalem and the
Babylonian captivity are necessary measures for the God of grace to employ if He is to correct his
disobedient people and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The difference, however, is when we look at how. In Ezekiel, Christ is pictured in parables such as
the tender sprig which is very similar, and thus reminds us, of the Branch from Isaiah 11, Jeremiah
23 and 33, and also many other places throughout scripture. Ezekiel also talks in prophecies when it
speaks of Messiah as the King with the right to rule.
In Daniel, you see Christ in many different aspects. You see Him in the fiery furnace that protected
Daniel's three friends. You see Him also in the lion's den, preserving his servant Daniel. In this book
he is portrayed through a vision as the great stone who will crush the nations of the world, which
points us to the final day when He comes again.
Canonical Significance: The canonical significance of Ezekiel is that the Holy God will be
worshipped again by a remnant. The canonical significance of Daniel is to show God's sovereignty
in history and prophesy.

Alfred Binet (July 11, 1857 – October 18, 1911) was a French psychologist who invented the first
usable intelligence test, known at the time as the Binet test and today referred to as the IQ test His
principal goal was to identify students who needed special help in coping with the school
curriculum. Along with his collaborator Théodore Simon, Binet published revisions of his
intelligence scale in 1908 and 1911, the last appearing just before his death. Binet was born as
Alfredo Binetti in Nice, then part of the Kingdom of Sardinia. He was the only child of a physician
father and an artist mother. His parents separated when he was young, and Binet then moved to Paris

Simon had nominated himself a few years before as Binet's research assistant and worked with him
on the intelligence tests that Binet is known for, which share Simon's name as well. In 1905, a new
test for measuring intelligence was introduced and simply called the Binet–Simon scale. In 1908,
they revised the scale, dropping, modifying, and adding tests and also arranging them according to
age levels from three to thirteen.
In 1904 a French professional group for child psychology, La Société Libre pour l'Etude
Psychologique de l'Enfant, was called upon by the French government to appoint a commission on
the education of retarded children. The commission was asked to create a mechanism for identifying
students in need of alternative education. Binet, being an active member of this group, found the
impetus for the development of his mental scale.
Binet and Simon, in creating what historically is known as the Binet–Simon Scale, comprised a
variety of tasks they thought were representative of typical children's abilities at various ages. This
task–selection process was based on their many years of observing children in natural settings. They
then tested their measurement on a sample of fifty children, ten children per five age groups. The
children selected for their study were identified by their school teachers as being average for their
age. The purpose of this scale of normal functioning, which would later be revised twice using more
stringent standards, was to compare

Titanic Research Paper
Drain the ocean to revill lost ships, the Titanic. What happened here, what went wrong? Why did the
stern of the ship tore apart when the bow of the ship looks fine but damaged by impact on the
seafloor. Since the bow of the ship was aerodynamic it sliced through the water and impacted the
seafloor while the stern of the ship tore apart. Titanic is a relic in the ocean on the seafloor. The
wreck site of the two halfs of the ship gives us information, details, and data of how, when, and why
it hit the seafloor the way it did. Evidence of the wreck site is giving us data of what really happened
and how this happened. We know that when the stern tilted up out of the water as she sank, it is
believed that this created immense stress tearing the ship completely in two.
With the seafloor scanned and analyzed we can now find out what really happened here when
Titanic went down under water, to retrace on how she possibly sank. Titanic made this two mile
descent to the bottom of the ocean and the way the debris is spread around the ship gives us clues on
how she went down to the bottom. The over size of the debris field is a key clue on how Titanic hit
the seafloor, how fast and how she impacted the floor. Evidence over the years have given us
answers to questions we have had for years and the debris field itself gives us clues of what
happened below the ocean.
As the stern of the ship went below the water it spiraled counter clockwise and piece by piece tore

Iq Tests And Cultural Bias

elephant, fish, seal, and monkey, lined up by a tree in front of a man behind a desk. The man said he
was going to make a fair selection by giving them all the same test. The test was that they all had to

Welcome to the controversy over IQ (Intelligent Quotient) tests and cultural diversity. In 1904, a
French psychologist (Alfred Binet) created the first intelligence test in order to help the French
Ministry of Education segregate children that may have difficulty learning in a regular classroom. At
that time, he did not know that his test would be the basis for IQ tests administered over 100 years
later. He has a Stanford University psychologist, Lewis Terman, to thank for expanding his work
and creating the Stanford–Binet intelligence test that took root in the United States in 1916 and is
still popular today. However, along with its popularity came criticism. Critics see the current version
of the Stanford – Binet test and other intelligence tests, despite attempts to make them culturally

Schindler's List vs Book Thief
The character Death, in Zusack's The Book Thief says: "That's the sort of thing I'll never know–
what humans are capable of."
Discuss the way this statement reflects one or more texts you have seen or read this year. Adaptation
is the ability to adjust for existence under environmental conditions. Like how animals adapt in the
wild, humans are also capable to be tolerant in difficult situations. We do not know our limit of
cruelty or kindness. Although most people choose to be kind and sympathetic to others, there are
also people who are cruel and cold–hearted. Mark Zusack states this idea in his book, The Book

Research Paper On Alfred Binet
Alfred Binet was the only child of Moina Allard and Edouard Binet. Binet was born in Nice, France
on July 8, 1857. His father was a physician and mother was an artist. His parents got divorced when
he was a young child. Binet attended a school in Nice until the age of 15. He spent the majority of
his summers going to a boardinghouse in England where he learned to master his fluency in English.
Attending the boardinghouse paid off in the near future because he was able to read the English and
American psychological literature. At the age of fifteen Binet moved with his mother to Paris,
France. His mother took him to Paris, France so that way he could go to a prestigious school Louis–

Lewis M. Terman, a psychologist at Stanford University, revised it. The fifth edition was released in
2003. The cognitive ability and intelligence test was used to determine whether a child had
developmental or intellectual deficiencies in young children. The test consists of five weighted
factors and both verbal and nonverbal subtests. The factors that were tested were for knowledge,
quantitative reasoning, visual–spatial processing, working memory, and fluid reasoning. The score
scale has a total of nine classifications that are used. The test now ranges from moderately impaired
or delayed (being the lowest score) to very gifted or highly advanced (being the highest score). The
test now allows higher age groups to be apart of the test and before it was only used for a specific
age group. The test determines the intellectual capabilities of young children all the way to young
adults. The revised test has different limitations also because it is criticized that they are unable to
compare the tests since they administer a different set of tests to individuals depending on the age of
the participant. Also, it is known that young children usually do not do well on tests because they
lack the concentration to finish this test. The test is available for you to take online on

and by the majority of his listeners a genius. He grew up in a suburb of Manhattan in the early

Malcolm Gladwell Book Report
Malcolm Gladwell is a nonfiction writer and journalist for the New Yorker. He was born in the UK
in 1963 and later to moved to Ontario, Canada. There his father was a professor at the University of
Waterloo and this gave Gladwell an opportunity. At the mere age of 11, Gladwell wandered the
offices of the university which opened him up to lots of reading. Starting in 1987, Gladwell began
writing articles for The Washington Post and in 1996 switched to writing for the New Yorker. He
published his first book The Tipping Point in 2000. Gladwell received a $1 million advance on the
book because it was based upon two New Yorker articles he wrote in 1996 that gained major
popularity. Gladwell has also published Blink, Outliers, What the Dog Saw: And Other Adventures,
and David and Goliath. Also, in 2005 Time named Gladwell one of its 100 most influential people.

So how come he isn't famous, Gladwell explains this again by opportunity through what you are
born into and what you grow up in. Many know Robert Oppenheimer as the man who made the
atomic bomb, he once also tried to kill his tutor. He didn't get put in jail though because he was
savvy. He had what Gladwell calls "practical intelligence" which is one's ability to interact with
others. Oppenheimer had strong practical and analytical intelligence, whereas Chris Langan only
had analytical. Gladwell believes that you are not born with practical intelligence. That it is
something you learn from the environment you grow up in. Langan grew up in a poor family with
little privilege whereas Oppenheimer was the opposite. Because Oppenheimer was born into a
wealthy family he learned how to interact with people better, especially to his superiors. Langan did
not learn this. Gladwell expresses Oppenheimer's success not solely based upon his analytical
intelligence, it also comes from the things he subconsciously learned from the environment he grew
up

Persuasive Essay On Home Alone

  • 1. Persuasive Essay On Home Alone Most people never thought of what it would be like to have your wish come true, and at the same time having to face the scariest thing as a kid all in just two days. One thing is true for a fact that we do love our family greatly, yet we all have taken our anger out on our family also by saying some things that we probably shouldn't have, causing our emotions to take over and have no control over what happens next. Therefore, in a film as a kid Kevin McCallister (a 9–year–old) decides to take all his anger out on his family after being name called and teased. His mom then sends him to the attic where he then tells her that he hates his family, but that he also wishes to never see them again. His wish did, in fact, come true, he was left home alone on Christmas Eve while his family was on vacation. The thing is he has to face two robbers in an event of the battle of good vs. evil just to save his house, nor does he have anyone to look up too. But does he? Having no family there makes it even harder, and Kevin soon realizes that maybe his family is what matters most. This film is called Home Alone, In the film Home Alone, the storyteller uses the archetype the "hero's" regrets and the "mentor's" advice to illustrate that we as humans tend to say rude and hurtful things towards the people we love the most when we are angry because we don't appreciate what we have until we lose it, and we don't realize how thankful we are for our family until something happens where we need ... • 2. Essay about Howard Stern How might one explain Howard Stern? Yes, he is a refreshing change from the typical, politically correct figure, and he provides humor and sex for late night audiences who are growing weary of Leno and Letterman. And while Howard Stern, shock jock turned television host, is more on the same wavelength as a Jerry Springer than a late night comic, Stern has always claimed––like Jerry––that his show is just an act. The idea that Howard Stern could come close––but not too close––to naked women on his television show, might have created the impression that this was just an act after all. He would say things that any other husband could not get away with, and it was okay, because it ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Although he has achieved remarkable success for an unremarkable act, he is obviously not happy in his personal life. What Stern continues to do is to integrate his radio persona with real life and in some ways, he cannot separate the two. What most people know about Stern's one big mistake had nothing to do with a lesbian bimbo getting too close, but rather his talking about Alison's miscarriage on the air. That is what most know about Howard Stern. His life has been aired in the film Private Parts and he tells the world how he feels every day. While he is flamboyant, and pushes the envelope, one thing is true. Howard Stern is at least consistent. What does this mean? While Stern on one hand objectifies women on the show, and then talks about his wife lovingly, that is a contradiction. But he maintains that this act is just that and both parts of that personality co–exist. Many wonder why the show is still on the air as it is somewhat offensive and really does nothing new, even as the years go by. Ratings had in fact dropped for this successful host, but they soon picked up again. Donovan reported that while Stern's Saturday night show had been in the doldrums, the marital breakup had helped ratings (Donovan 226). But one question remains. What will Stern do now that he is on available again? That is not an easy one to answer. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Daniel's Interpretation Of King Nebuchadnezzar Daniel 2:43–49, an excerpt from Daniel's interpretation of King Nebuchadnezzar, shows the power of God's connection with his children. Daniel, during the explanation of Nebuchadnezzar's dream, depicts a statue with a head made of gold, the chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay (6). Daniel then tells Nebuchadnezzar that he is the head of gold, the silver part of the statue is an inferior kingdom that will replace him, and the bronze part is a third nation that will "rule over the whole earth." As you advance down the statue, the iron kingdom will be one that "crushes and smashes everything." Then the kingdom will be divided, which is symbolized by the clay and iron feet. Finally, a stone will be thrown at the statue; this stone was a symbol of God's Kingdom and this kingdom will stand forever (4). As Daniel told this to King Nebuchadnezzar, the ... Nebuchadnezzar saw Daniel's God as the Revealer of secrets and the secrets held within his dream was opened by the messenger of God, Daniel. Since Daniel was the messenger of God, Nebuchadnezzar believed that he must reward him with the highest honor and show him respect. I find it interesting in the fact that the King does not dismiss the other gods, but instead says that God is the God of all Gods. I find that quite hypocritical as the second commandments say "You shall have no other gods before Me" (Exodus 20:3 NKJV). He developed the first Intelligence Quotient (IQ) test, which was to become used throughout the world. They wanted to devise a test to measure a variety of psychological abilities, which included imagery, attention, comprehension, imagination, judgments of visual space, and memory for various stimuli. Binet did not believe that simple sensory testing was a true and accurate way to determine a person's intelligence. Binet never intended for his test to measure ones intelligence but to measure ones intelligence in regards to their behaviors. Binet and Simon compiled a collection of tests which incorporated various tasks which they deemed would highlight children's abilities at various ages. They based the tasks on their many years of observing children, imparticularly the observations Binet had made in regard to his own two daughters. In 1905 Binet and Simon tested their measurements on another fifty children whom their school teachers considered to be of average intelligence for their ages. This test was to enable Binet to examine the levels of intelligent behaviors between children of the same age. Some of the tests on Binets scale were very simple, including asking a child to follow the direction of movement of a lighted match, and then maybe slightly harder was to repeat back a three digit sequence of numbers or sentences. There were a few harder tests involved which would require a child to make a sentence out of maybe three or four words, or to reproduce a drawing from memory. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In the book of Daniel, Daniel is seen using the four management functions: planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. Planning Through careful planning, Daniel was given permission to not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with his wine. Daniel, a man of the Lord, had purposed in his heart to obey the Lord. He knew that if he ate of the king's meat, and drank of the king's wine that the Lord would not be pleased. • 12. Essay on Schindler's List Schindler's List Schindler's List is one of the most powerful movies of all time. It presents the indelible true story of enigmatic German businessman Oskar Schindler who becomes an unlikely saviour of more than 1100 Jews amid the barbaric Nazi reign. A German Catholic war profiteer, Schindler moved to Krakow in 1939 when Germany overran Poland. There he opens an enamelware factory that, on the advice of his Jewish accountant Itzhak Stern, was staffed by Jews from the nearby forced labour camp at Plaszow. To think that this self centred man would become known for a shining moment of salvation for so many is almost beyond belief. Oskar Schindler is not a humanitarian or a force for ?good? in the typical sense. He is depicted within the film as a man that simply found himself in a unique position and rose to the occasion. Evil on the other hand, is epitomised throughout the film by the actions of those involved in the Nazi regime, in particular Amon Goeth who was in charge of the forced labour camp at Plaszow. However, emotion is not only conveyed through the actions of the main characters. Colour also has a significant impact on how good and evil is portrayed within the film. Perhaps the most moving image in Steven Spielberg?s epic, Schindler?s List, condenses all of the sadism of the Nazi regime into one small pictorial area. One of only four colour images in a black and white film spanning over three hours, the little girl in a red coat, making her way, aimless and alone through the madness and chaos, compels Schindler?s attention during the liquidation of the Jewish ghetto. Schindler identifies with the child, the plight of the little girl touches him in a way the sheer numbers make unreal ? this image transforms the faceless mass around him into one palpable human being. This figure serves as a moral reawakening for Schindler, his conscience consequently kicks into gear. The poignant yet subtle musical score also adds to the haunting atmosphere created by the ... It beautifully and completely realizes the honest story of a man who was an astounding leader in every respect. This book captures with accuracy and poignancy a part of history that every member of every society must know about and never forget, and to do it in novel form is a sign of Keneally's extraordinary ingenuity. Perhaps we could compare him to another leader, President William Jefferson Clinton, in his exemplification of charisma. Another trait crucial to Schindler's leadership is the ability to shrewdly harness the skills of others. The most obvious example of this ability is his employment of the Jewish accountant Itzhak Stern. Despite the fact that Stern is Jew, Schindler knows he is the best man to help run his business and keep track of his finances and contacts. He immediately recognizes Stern's ability and puts his trust in him. Likewise, Schindler's utilization of Poldek Pfefferberg to connect him to the black market is an equally important union. His trust in Pfefferberg also demonstrates his strong character judgment. Moreover, another apparent manifestation of this quality is Schindler's use of the Jews in his factory. Besides the fact that they were inexpensive, he knew that they would be dependable and efficient. Finally, our leader develops an ongoing partnership with the evil Hauptsturmfuhrer Amon Goeth to get what he needs, his workers. We could similarly compare Schindler's recognition of trustworthy people and sense of opportunity in taking advantage of the skills of others to leaders we have discussed in class like Ross Perot. • 26. Analysis Of Alfred Binet And Lewis Terman On Intelligence... 1. When comparing Alfred Binet and Lewis Terman on their approaches to intelligence testing there are some similarities amongst the two. One such similarity would be regarding content. Alfred Binet's approach to intelligence testing consisted of tests that ranged in difficulty levels from easy to hard. These tests required one to demonstrate his or her own cognitive ability, decision making, and verbal skills. Lewis Terman's approach to intelligence testing was an updated version of Binet's. Terman also used cognitive ability, decision making, and verbal skills in his testing; however, he added mathematics, attention span, and processing skills. However, their purposes for intelligence testing were quite different from one another. Alfred ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Lewis Terman's view of philosophy was that of pragmatism, in which it relies on more of a practical nature. This view believes that principles of merit should be based solely on one's workability, effectiveness, and practical ideas. Technical advances for Alfred Binet would be the fact that he had measures ranging in different difficulty levels. Binet also had a proper scoring technique in which he matched an individual's mental age with their actual physical age. Alfred Binet did not create a suitable standardization model. Lewis Terman created a way for Alfred Binet's intelligence test to be standardized. He included a measure of intelligence quotient and renamed it the Stanford–Binet Intelligence Test. Lewis Terman's technical advances also shone a light on individuals that scored in the extreme areas. 2. • 27. Twyla and Roberta´s Friendship in Toni Morrison’s... The whirlwind relationship of Twyla & Roberta. Friendships tend to change over time, for better or worse. This is illustrated in Toni Morrison's short story Recititaf. The relationships of Twyla and Roberta are a rollercoaster from the moment they meet at the orphanage, to their confrontational meeting at the Howard Johnsons, to the picketing during segregation, until the end when they try and sort things out. One of the ways to show the rocky relationship of the two is through their dialog when they discuss their mothers. The best place to start is at the beginning, at the start of the story, when the two girls are first put into the shelter. Twyla ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... When she does this, her grin cracked her whole face, and she replies fine. This shows her unwillingness to disclose, and demonstrates her decision to refuse Twyla's desire to reignite their old friendship, when she asks how Twyla's mother is doing she simply replies that she's doing fine, pretty as a picture, to reflect Roberta's unwillingness to open up. On the next meeting, farther into their lives, Roberta actually calls out to Twyla in a grocery checkout line. When they begin to talk, Roberta asks if her Twyla's mother is sick as well, meaning that what she said last time they met isn't correct, that she was still sick. They begin to reminisce, remembering how Roberta's mother had the cross like two telephone poles, a much less elegant description of how Twyla originally stated earlier, realizing it wasn't necessarily salvation for her. As the conversation continues, she asks again about her mother, asking if she got well, which she never did, a nice way of saying she passed away. Later on, during the picketing and everything, Twyla notices Roberta picketing with a sign larger than her mother's cross. Insinuating that she's becoming her mother, if not more, and falling into a sickness herself that could destroy their friendship. They begin arguing over whether or not when the bow legged servant Maggie fell whether or not they kicked her. This spurs off into a war of words. • 29. Daniel Vs Ezekiel Essay Ezekiel and Daniel are alike and different in many ways. Yes, both were Major Prophets called by God. The history we learn about these prophets should teach us many things that we as Christians are called to know. Name: The names Daniel and Ezekiel are similar in the fact that they were both taken from Hebrew and both are named after their authors. The difference is apparent when we look at the meaning of the names. Daniel means "God is Judge" or God is my Judge", whereas Ezekiel means "God strengthens" or "strengthened by God". Theme: There's not much similarity in the themes of these books except that in both books, God's grace is plainly shown. That is about where the similarities end. From there, Ezekiel's theme is focused on the condemnation of Israel for their sin. Ezekiel is also a prophecy that the fall of Jerusalem and the Babylonian captivity are necessary measures for the God of grace to employ if He is to correct his disobedient people and ... Ezekiel also talks in prophecies when it speaks of Messiah as the King with the right to rule. In Daniel, you see Christ in many different aspects. You see Him in the fiery furnace that protected Daniel's three friends. You see Him also in the lion's den, preserving his servant Daniel. • 31. Alfred Binet Alfred Binet (July 11, 1857 – October 18, 1911) was a French psychologist who invented the first usable intelligence test, known at the time as the Binet test and today referred to as the IQ test His principal goal was to identify students who needed special help in coping with the school curriculum. Along with his collaborator Théodore Simon, Binet published revisions of his intelligence scale in 1908 and 1911, the last appearing just before his death. Binet was born as Alfredo Binetti in Nice, then part of the Kingdom of Sardinia. He was the only child of a physician father and an artist mother. His parents separated when he was young, and Binet then moved to Paris with his mother. He attended law school, and earned his degree in 1878. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Simon had nominated himself a few years before as Binet's research assistant and worked with him on the intelligence tests that Binet is known for, which share Simon's name as well. In 1905, a new test for measuring intelligence was introduced and simply called the Binet–Simon scale. In 1908, they revised the scale, dropping, modifying, and adding tests and also arranging them according to age levels from three to thirteen. In 1904 a French professional group for child psychology, La Société Libre pour l'Etude Psychologique de l'Enfant, was called upon by the French government to appoint a commission on the education of retarded children. The commission was asked to create a mechanism for identifying students in need of alternative education. Binet, being an active member of this group, found the impetus for the development of his mental scale. Binet and Simon, in creating what historically is known as the Binet–Simon Scale, comprised a variety of tasks they thought were representative of typical children's abilities at various ages. This task–selection process was based on their many years of observing children in natural settings. They then tested their measurement on a sample of fifty children, ten children per five age groups. The children selected for their study were identified by their school teachers as being average for their age. The purpose of this scale of normal functioning, which would later be revised twice using more stringent standards, was to compare ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Why did the stern of the ship tore apart when the bow of the ship looks fine but damaged by impact on the seafloor. Since the bow of the ship was aerodynamic it sliced through the water and impacted the seafloor while the stern of the ship tore apart. Titanic is a relic in the ocean on the seafloor. The wreck site of the two halfs of the ship gives us information, details, and data of how, when, and why it hit the seafloor the way it did. Evidence of the wreck site is giving us data of what really happened and how this happened. We know that when the stern tilted up out of the water as she sank, it is believed that this created immense stress tearing the ship completely in two. With the seafloor scanned and analyzed we can now find out what really happened here when Titanic went down under water, to retrace on how she possibly sank. Titanic made this two mile descent to the bottom of the ocean and the way the debris is spread around the ship gives us clues on how she went down to the bottom. The over size of the debris field is a key clue on how Titanic hit the seafloor, how fast and how she impacted the floor. Iq Tests And Cultural Bias Essay #3: IQ Tests and Cultural Bias There was a cartoon showing different animals, including an elephant, fish, seal, and monkey, lined up by a tree in front of a man behind a desk. The man said he was going to make a fair selection by giving them all the same test. The test was that they all had to climb the tree. In this case, the monkey probably was the only one that thought the test was fair. Welcome to the controversy over IQ (Intelligent Quotient) tests and cultural diversity. In 1904, a French psychologist (Alfred Binet) created the first intelligence test in order to help the French Ministry of Education segregate children that may have difficulty learning in a regular classroom. At that time, he did not know that his test would be the basis for IQ tests administered over 100 years later. He has a Stanford University psychologist, Lewis Terman, to thank for expanding his work and creating the Stanford–Binet intelligence test that took root in the United States in 1916 and is still popular today. However, along with its popularity came criticism. Critics see the current version of the Stanford – Binet test and other intelligence tests, despite attempts to make them culturally fair, as limiting to individuals who are not from the major social norm. They claim that cultural bias in test questions is why certain races do not perform as well as others on the test. The factors that were tested were for knowledge, quantitative reasoning, visual–spatial processing, working memory, and fluid reasoning. The score scale has a total of nine classifications that are used. The test now ranges from moderately impaired or delayed (being the lowest score) to very gifted or highly advanced (being the highest score). The test now allows higher age groups to be apart of the test and before it was only used for a specific age group. The test determines the intellectual capabilities of young children all the way to young adults.
