3. Platform Used for 7th Grade HEalth:
Apple/IOS devices are preferred due to:
● STEM being 1:1 IPad school
● APPS being automatically downloaded to school IPads
● Apple TV in classrooms for easy wireless audio/video
streaming
● STEM being an Apple Distinguished school.

4. No Device, No Problem...
Our classroom has extra IPads and Chromebooks in the event
that school issued IPads are in repair, or BYOD devices are
not an option.
All extra devices were awarded through district minigrants.

5. COLLABORATIVE LEARNING:
Class time in Health will always focus
on collaborative learning. Each unit
will have a group of 4-6 students
Constructed by the teacher. When a new unit is introduced,
the teacher will construct new groups. All assignments will
use IPads/ BYOD devices. Regardless of individual or group
assignments, group collaboration is expected.

● Health Adventurers (General Health Games; Android, IOS)
● Truth About Drugs Online Education (Drugs; IOS)
● Develop a drug in this race against time! (Inquiry; Android, IOS)
● American Cancer Society Journal (Disease; Android, IOS)
● Hormone Horoscope Teen (Growth & Development; Android, IOS)
● Drugs, Alcohol and Teens by Rockstar (Drugs, Alcohol, Tobacco; IOS)
