1. Prerequisites:
Copy and past sumo folder in c:/Program Files…..
Configure sumo home path in system environment variable…….
Main File to Run : TrafficLightController.java
3. After clicking the start button in sumo tool, the simulation will be started……
4. Now the vehicles are moved and they send information about their speed, location
to traffic light controller…….

7. Based on the arrival time the vehicles are grouped…. The traffic controller constructs
platoons and calculates green time for all the vehicles. According to platooning algorithm
the platoon which is arrived first will be serviced soon..,. So the for a particular time the
traffic lights state will be changed as follows……….
8. The vehicles move in their respective lanes according to the traffic light state…..
9. Once all the vehicles are serviced i.e reach their corresponding destinations, the
simulation ends.
