Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to apply for the position of aircraft maintenance mechanic. I am a fresher, graduated from
Emirates Aviation University holding a degree for Aerospace Engineering as well as completed my modules
for B1.1 G.C.A.A license as well as E.A.S.A license and now seeking a suitable post in your organization as an
aircraft mechanic.
Apart from the qualification which I have achieved over the past five years, I have also trained as an intern
with Emirates and Emirates Aviation Services. During my internship, I have worked on piston and turbine
aircraft.
In my previous role as aircraft maintenance mechanic at Emirates & Emirates Aviation Services, I was
delegated to perform a range of tasks both turbine and piston engine aircraft and component maintenance
procedures. These included maintenance, modification and repairs to different tasks given on the particular
aircrafts.
I possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and am also exceptionally organized.
During my training period I made sure that tight production schedules were maintained by efficiently
working with my colleagues. I am comfortable and confident working independently on high-
responsibility jobs in time-critical environments that also entails a willingness to work flexible hours
whenever required.
Throughout these five years of my life in the Emirates Aviation College, I have been driven to improve the
efficiency of work procedures where appropriate no matter if it was individual or group projects in my
university and any tasks, I was a key contributor to the streamlining of operations and task flows, resulting
in considerable financial and time savings.
I possess advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as a great deal of experience using design
software, including AutoCAD and Solid works. I hold a current driver’s license.
My resume is attached and I look forward to being able to discuss the position with you further.
Yours faithfully,
Trevor Francis Lobo
