Example number one: Floor shooting drill. With this drill, what
you have to do is to position yourself lying down on your back
while holding the ball in a shooting position. Then, shoot the ball
in the air by extending your arm and letting your wrist naturally
propel the ball up into the air. Catch the ball with your shooting
hand on the pads of your hand and fingers.
Example number two: Distance shooting drill. This drill will help
you improve the distance on your host and extend your shooting
range. Warm up before performing this drill, and do some close-
in form shooting drills as well. Then, position yourself way back to
the furthest distance from the basket that you are comfortable
shooting from. Shoot ten jumps from this distance and move
back one to two feet further away only once you have made eight
out of ten shots. Shoot ten more jumps from this range, and
continue moving back one to two feet from the basket for each
series of ten shots.
Example number three: Bank shot shooting drill. With this drill,
you will be able to develop proper form while strengthening the
arm. This drill also promotes your instinctive ability to square up
properly and to shoot with good form. The way to perform this
