ABC is a treatment program for young people with early psychosis in Utrecht, Netherlands. It serves an average of 23-year old clients, 39% of whom are immigrants from 15 nationalities. The program monitors client outcomes through ongoing research. After 1.75 years of treatment: - Psychotic and other impairments stabilize - The number of unmet client needs declines as treatment better addresses needs - Client autonomy increases as total needs decline - Activity and social participation levels increase However, 19% of clients get worse, 40% stay the same, and 41% get better, showing many important unmet client needs remain.
