O'Connor introduced Salt Marsh Solutions, Inc. and serves as its CEO and
Principal Consultant/Collaborator. He created the concept of Managing From a
®

Higher Level , and the Protect-Biz risk management planning process. Over a
forty-year career as a systems and management consultant and as a project
manager O'Connor devised and implemented business process improvement
solutions for Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and international
clients. He has worked in a variety of industries including health care, education,
manufacturing, public utilities, logistics, pharmaceuticals, transportation, and
financial services. O’Connor served as a U. S. Naval Officer in the Pacific Fleet
after graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Industrial Engineering.
O'Connor has worked for leading companies including Electronic Data Systems,
Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, Perot Systems Corporation, KPMG ExIS,
Computer Sciences Corporation, and Data Dimensions, Inc.
His considerable expertise includes:


applying successful innovation for both the sales and delivery of
consulting services;



establishing productivity improvement techniques and usability
testing within a Fortune 100 technology company;



managing client projects with budgets up to $22 million;



managing a staff of 300 systems engineers supporting multiple
federal government projects;



improving many consulting projects that were not meeting client
expectations; and


advising national and international clients on critical, time-sensitive
issues that challenged the board room as well as the computer
room.

In addition, O’Connor has authored articles for Computerworld and Information

Week and is a member of the Association of Contingency Planners.

O'Connor has worked for leading companies including Electronic Data Systems, Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, Perot Systems Corporation, KPMG ExIS, Computer Sciences Corporation, and Data Dimensions, Inc. His considerable expertise includes:  applying successful innovation for both the sales and delivery of consulting services;  establishing productivity improvement techniques and usability testing within a Fortune 100 technology company;  managing client projects with budgets up to $22 million;  managing a staff of 300 systems engineers supporting multiple federal government projects;  improving many consulting projects that were not meeting client expectations; and
  • 2.  advising national and international clients on critical, time-sensitive issues that challenged the board room as well as the computer room.
