Many of us know the old adage, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound
of cure." It teaches us the relatively high value and low cost of prevention
over the high cost and low added value of a cure.
But, what about prevention's siblings, planning and preparation? I'm sure
we can all recall circumstances where the benefits of planning would have
outweighed the costs of little or no planning. And, is lack of prevention any
different?
A multinational corporation was embarked on a critical project with
an immovable deadline. After spending hundreds of thousands of
dollars on their project plan, they used the Protect-Biz®process to
