2. John 10:27-28 My sheep hear My voice, and I know
them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life,
and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch
them out of My hand.
Have you placed your trust and faith in Christ
Jesus?
What evidences do you see in your life that would
confirm your faith?
What fruit of the Spirit do you see growing in your
life?
3. Word of God – Are you growing in the knowledge of
God’s Word?
Prayer – Is prayer a functioning and practiced part of
your life. Do you stay in constant communication with
God?
Holy Spirit – are you continually seeking and asking
assistance and guidance from the Holy Spirit?
Fellowship – Are you connected to the Body of Christ
and serving in the area of your calling? What part of
the body are you and are you doing your part.
4. Savings - Hiding the Word of God in our hearts.
Memorizing scripture, banking the promises of God so
that we access to them when we need them.
Emergency Fund – Spiritual emergencies happen
when we least expect them. Our spiritual resources
come in the form of what and to whom we are
connected to. Constant communication to the Lord
through the Spirit and to the Body of Christ.
Purchases – Where are our priorities when it comes to
life. Do we have our eyes on things above or in front of
us? Are we making investments or just expenditures?
What do we do with our time, talent, and treasure?
5. Wealth Building – In the same way we seek to build
wealth here on earth we need to think about building
our eternal wealth as well.
What are we sending forward and what are we leaving
behind to others.
1. Treasure in Heaven - Matthew 6:19 “Do not lay up for
yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and
where thieves break in and steal;
2. Inheritance
3. Legacy
4. Using resources based on an eternal outlook
6. Liabilities
Owe
Worldly interactions and
time spent in the battle.
Family relationships and
responsibilities.
Time spent in meaningless
and worldly activities.
Assets
Own
Firm foundation in the
Word of God.
Body participation and
exercise.
Discipleship one on one
or in group setting.
In order to balance or liabilities and our assets we have to be willing to look at
where we are spending our resources and how they are being consumed.
7. Matthew 7:24-27
“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does
them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house
on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and
the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall,
for it was founded on the rock.
“But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does
not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house
on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and
the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And
great was its fall.”
