Mr. Bang is a Healthcare Technology/Services CEO & serves as a Board Director in early-
midstage ventures. He has led several ventures to liquidity & accelerated $1B in value
creation over the past ten years. Tom has also led rapid venture development within the
Fortune 100, in US & International markets. His career began at American Hospital
Supply Corporation/Baxter International, later serving on the Executive Committee of The
Pyxis Corporation/Cardinal Health, in various senior management roles.
A member of the Corporate Directors Forum, Tech Coast Angels & San Diego Connect, he
is also an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Ralph W. Leatherby Center for
Entrepreneurship & Business Ethics at Chapman University. Tom mentors aspiring
executive leaders in WOMEN Unlimited, an international organization committed to the
growth of high potential women, within their Fortune 500 sponsor companies.
In 2011-12, he was a recognized winner in the San Diego Connect Venture Round Table &
finalist in the Tech Coast Angels & San Diego Venture Group – “Quick Pitches”;
representing a novel mobile health technology startup, as their acting CEO.

