What is supercooling and how is it observed in this experiment? What difference would you see if the solution was not stirred? Solution Super cooling is the process when the temperature is made to come below the freezing point of any liquid without coming into solid state. for eg If freezing of point of water is made to come below 0 degree C without becoming an ice. I am assuming the experiment is just focusing on stirring process that how it will affect the supercooling. When temperature reduces the kinetic energy of the particles also reduces, the particles starts coming closer to each other. If not stirred in between they might get attached or come very close thay may lead to solid state formation. So, stirring helps maintaining the distance between the particles or keeping them in liquid state only. .
