Narrative: a Memorable Event. Essay
Narrative: A memorable event.
I woke to my body jittering with anxiety. It was 7 o'clock on a Saturday morning, and it was the
day that I had been awaiting for. I was almost ready when my Dad shouted '' Ya betta get ya'self
moving Kertesha, we're gonna be late!''.
I paused, and took one last look at myself in the mirror. My hair was scraped back, my polo necked
fleece was suffocating and itchy, my black ribbed jodhpurs were tight around my midriff, but there
was one thing missing. It was one thing which all the girls on the internet, in the movies, and in all
the equestrian magazines had – A gilet. Mine was a pink Abercrombie & Fitch one, with ribbed
salmon trims around the waistband and collar; it was not a real equestrian gilet,...show more content...
Although the smell of the manure was strong, over time I began to appreciate it, and so it became
more of an aroma, than an odour. But this is something my Dad never seemed to get used, to let
alone appreciate. The entire stable had a rather odd smell; it was a mixture of hay, cut grass, dust,
manure, and oddly, a hint of leather. This was a smell which I soon became very fond of.
There were six of us in the group, we were all new to Dulwhich Riding School and filled with
enthusiasm. After being handed our riding hats, we were alphabetically permitted to choose a horse,
and as always, I was last in the alphabet. I was left with a choice of two, one was a blue roan filly.
She was a young slate coloured horse who reminded me of Eeyore (from Winnie the Pooh), and
was also a lot smaller than the other horses. Then I saw the attractive sorrel coloured gelding, he
stood glaring at me with his head poking out of the barn gate. His mane was dark and silky, and he
had a striking white birthmark on the bridge of his nose. I had an instant connection with him, and
proclaimed his name as Cashmere.
As I lead Cashmere towards the indoor riding arena, my heart raced. The inconsistent sound hoofs
trotting along the cobbled ground were intensifying. As I stroked Cashmere's muzzle and gave him a
mint polo (he's favourites), I began to mentally prepared myself to mount, and ride him.
Cashmere was

War Story- Personal Narrative Essay
War Story– Personal Narrative Finally we got a well deserved break from what seemed like our
endless marching. As we stopped pain shot up my left leg like a bullet. I looked automatically to
my right. Nobody was there. My best friend Simon would usually stand there, as he had in the war
before, I could imagine the grin on his face. The images of all those years ago started to play in my
mind...
It began when we were assembled in the safety of the trench. Then we heard those dreaded words
that can make a man throw up with fear for his life.
"Go! Over the top men, go!"
I froze, not breathing, not even blinking I was paralysed, standing there motionless, my legs as solid
as...show more content...
Then, turning my head again I saw Simon dive to my aid. He did not utter a single word but just
gave a faint grin then promptly looked down at my leg and set to work. He freed me and with a little
help I made it to the safety of the next shell hole. I owed him my life.
Simon refused to stop. He climbed up again to help the others. I tried to tug him back but my
efforts were worthless; seen as I was wounded. Gun shots and shell fire pounded my ears like a
right hand from a heavy weight boxer. I will never forget the next sound I heard. I knew it was the
end so I looked up at the morning sun and prayed towards the heavens. I could hear the screams
penetrating throughout my mind.
Now I'm standing here about to march on to fight in another war, fighting for my dear friend.
When will man kind learn? Now, however, I fear this time I might not be so lucky, especially now,
without Simon, who I did not even get a chance to thank for saving my life. Now I try to put the
thoughts out of my mind with a tear in my eye turning away from the other soldiers so they cannot
see.
I can see a large church in front of me and can hear the sounds of children playing. I begin to think
about the contrast. The young, blameless children playing happily with each other only a short
distance away from where us, the adults are contemplating what lies ahead hideously slaughtering the

Narrative Essay I step my foot into public school for the first time ever my freshman year, not
knowing a single person other than my brother. Prior to my freshman year, I was homeschooled.
The school feels really big at the time and it's very overwhelming. As I walk around I see people
hugging, reuniting, and saying, "oh my gosh I have missed you!" All I am worrying about is
what people are thinking of me like, does she have any friends, or she looks like a loner. I am
getting nervous and more nervous every second that passes. I decide I need to go straight to my
classroom, but I have no idea where to go. I finally make my way to my classroom, then I sit down,
and the bell rings. "The day is just beginning," I think to myself....show more content...
I am halfway through the day. After this long day it's still not over yet, I am just half way through
the day going into 5th period. As I walked in I see a girl I already met and I wanted to run and give
her a hug, I was so excited to see someone I already knew. I didn't have to worry where I was going
to sit that period, or who I was going to talk to. I probably looked like the happiest person in the
world with a big smile on my face. As I am smiling as I say, "hello, Claire right?" She says, "Yes!"
We sit together, exchange social media usernames, and numbers. Later, I go to 6th period, my
science class. When we come in the teacher says to talk with people to sit in alphabetical order. I
am placed next to a kid named Dominic Thomas, and his buddy is sitting on the other side of me.
They were acting like I didn't exist, and getting in my personal space. Later, the teacher says, "The
person sitting at your table will be your lab partner." That's when I found out Dominic Thomas will
be my lab partner for the quarter. I did not know what was coming for me. Finally, 7th period here I
come. Now this class was one crazy class, with some crazy people, but it was all good because I get
to leave after this period. The bell rings and I am out of there. Leaving school I am feeling many
emotions, I am happy to leave, excited to tell my mom about all I experienced that day,

Personal Narrative My Life Essay
Personal Narrative My Life
I never really thought about where my life was going. I always believed life took me where I
wanted to go, I never thought that I was the one who took myself were I wanted to go. Once I
entered high school I changed the way I thought. This is why I chose to go to college. I believe that
college will give me the keys to unlock the doors of life. This way I can choose for myself where I
go instead of someone choosing for me.
I have chosen to go to the local community college to get used to the college experience. College
life can be an exciting time but at the same time it can be a challenge. I feel that starting out at the
community college would be a better chose than "jumping" into life at a...show more content...
I know this is what I want to do with my life. I want to be a positive influence in the lives of
children. I want to be able to stand up and show the children that it is okay to be yourself and
stand up for what you believe in. I am a well round student. For nine years I was actively involved
in a girls organization. This experience taught me many things. We were actively involved in
community service activities, for which I received the Silver Award. ( The second highest award
in the organization.) I learned about the value of friendship and patients with others. This
organization first introduced me to my future career. I was also involved for three and a half years
in a student government club on campus. In this club I learned many life lessons. One of which
was the value of hard work. I was one of the few people that organized the Junior/Senior Prom of
2000. My responsibilities included planning corranation, buying and organizing decorations,
planning the busing schedule, booking the photographers, fundraising, ect. This taught me about
hard work. But the best part of it was going to Prom knowing I was one of the only reasons that it
happened. As far as school goes, my schedule is very diverse. I am taking child development lab,
which is a class where students from my high school can go to the local elementary schools and
work one on one with the students. I have work in the elementary school for two and a half years. I

At this point in my life I find myself in an interesting predicament regarding my attitudes toward
reading and writing; more so towards reading. Years ago I used to love reading books for pleasure
but nowadays I find myself reading things that little to no effort to digest. This includes the very
basic posts on facebook expressing one's opinion on something or articles and threads on reddit
discussing topics I find intriguing. Perhaps it's the severe senioritis that has overcome me as I
enter my last semester at Chapman University. As I've gotten lazier I can see it start to reflect in
my everyday life. Deep down I still love to read but I rarely find myself getting truly invested into
the action unless it relates to something I am very...show more content...
You can feed the mind as much as you want and it will never get full of reading. Sadly, I'm not the
same person that I was. I guess you could say it's part of growing up. It never really was
intentional but it's just the way how it ended up. On the other hand my attitudes toward writing
are very different. First let me say that deep down I truly do not like to write. I myself don't
personally like to write for leisure or pleasure but rather I write because I believe it is one of the
most important aspects of being able to communicate with those around you, both personally and
professionally. To put differently, my attitude towards writing is that I write because I need to
write and survive in the world around me. I write because I have to, not because I want to.
Hopefully this somewhat makes sense. To better explain let me make a comparison. When I am
assigned a writing assignment or I am writing because the action is being forced upon me I find
myself not enjoying the process and overall the end result is subpar. The perfect example of this
would be my junior year in high school when I was enrolled in AP english literature. I dreaded the
majority of the class simply because there was so much writing involved in the entire course and
therefore I was constantly writing just to get a grade. Being forced to write in such high volume
every week for an entire school year was not enjoyable for myself and as a result the

Essay on My Family History
My Family History
Family history is very important to an individual. By knowing where you come from, you can have
a better perspective of your life. Having a clear understanding of your family background allows you
to better appreciate the things that you would normally take for granted. The house, the car, and the
average clothing may look better when one sees the sacrifices their family has made. They will see
that their family has worked very hard just so their family can experience the better things in life. A
persons roots and origin is one of the most important things to explore. It alone can bring you closer
to self–discovery.
There are two sides to a person's family and one side of my family has...show more content...
One of these is that on Thanksgiving everybody comes together to my parents' house in New Jersey
for a huge feast. On Christmas only my mother and the children (me and my brother) travel to Illinois
to spend a week with my grandparents. On New Years Eve we all get together at my parents'
house in New Jersey and toast to the New Year with champagne and apple cider. During Labor
Day weekend all of my family travels to South Jersey to my grandfathers' condo. We usually
spend all of our time on the beach and barbequing, except on Sunday when we go to church. After
all, my grandfather is a minister. One of our biggest family traditions is going back to Puerto
Rico. Every year my mother and I travel back to Puerto Rico for a portion of our summer
vacation. Now that I am older I travel there more often and stay there much longer. My father never
joins because he doesn't like my mothers side of the father too much and he thinks that we when we
speak Spanish we are all plotting against him. Of course that's not true though. My bother doesn't
speak Spanish so he doesn't like to go either. I guess that tradition is one that belongs solely to my
mother and I.
The role of the people in family basically stayed the same for most of the generations with a little
change in the later generations. Earlier the males were the only ones that worked in the family and
the wife stayed at home and took care of the house and

The Story of My Life Essay
This explains the beginning of my life all the way to the end of my life. My life from the
beginning was very fun as I grew up living with my mom's friend and my friend. But there were a
lot of fights and I was very hyper back then. I have ADHD so back then when I was little; I was
very hyper and wouldn't stop moving around the place. I always was annoying back then and
never seemed to get my homework done at school. I was born at Kaiser Hospital during the year
1996. The first place I lived was on the street Via Harriet and was right next to a train. It was
always noisy when the train passed by because it shook the house and scared all the animals. It
wasn't the best place to live, but we eventually moved to the hills, I don't remember...show more

Overall I know that I'm going to graduate because I'm pushing hard and all I need to finish is my
Cyber High and keep up my grades and I will graduate. I want to go to Chabot College because it's
the closest place to go to. I am planning to get my associates degree then transfer to Cal State East
Bay University. I don't exactly know the requirements of classes to get into Cal State, but as long
as I get my AA degree I should be fine. I am focused on technology and computers; I like to choose
classes that can be similar to wiring or soldering. I am not that sure if I would be more focused on
computers or wiring, I think an Internship might help me out. My career would be Technician or
Electrician because I'm focused on electricity and wanting to discover what would happen
without getting electrocuted. I'm still unsure if I just want to work on physical components on
the computer. I used to work on computers a lot, but it got boring and I can't do it as great now.
Soldering is interesting for me because I get to repair broken wires, being able to strip a wire.
When striping a wire, you get to know how the wire is connected. I think a life event for me is to
grab my master's degree, which is what I'm focused on. That's like the best degree to get, but it's
really difficult to receive. I wouldn't like going to years and years of education, but it's totally worth
it. Getting a higher degree affects the amount

Memorable Experience Essay
Throughout life I have had many memorable events. The memorable times in my life vary from
being the worst times in my life and some being the best, either way they have become milestones
that will be remembered forever. The best day of my life was definitely the day that I received my
drivers' license. This day is one of the most memorable because of the feelings I had when I
received it, the opportunities that were opened up for me and the long lasting benefits that I received
from it that still exist today. Getting my drivers' license was an intense feeling that I will never
forget. Just knowing that I had a drivers' license made me feel so free, as free as a bird flying in the
open sky with no real place to go, just a desire to be...show more content...
Driving fast in a car may be unsafe but the thrill and excitement of high rates of speed gave me a
rush I had never felt before. Seeing, feeling and hearing everything go by faster made the whole
driving experience so much better. My mouth watered with envy as I approached the drivers' seat
every time I went out for a drive. The automobile, as a whole, became a high interest of mine; the
styling, the sound and the speed of it. I loved driving and I loved cars and all of this new found
love was from the birth of my drivers' license. Such a simple piece of paper opened up such a
broad area of learning for me; it was of much amazement to me. Receiving my drivers' license was
the best day of my life. It will be remembered forever because of the feelings, experience and new
beginnings that it gave me. Today, I still hold my interest in the automobile but the thrill of
driving has dulled significantly since I receive many traffic tickets and went through a period of
license suspension. But, still, that day remains the best day of my life. The day I received my
drivers' license will never be forgotten for as long as I

As times goes on you, realize life isn't all it seems to be. You learn life lessons and certain life
events teach you things that can lead to you improving yourself as a person. As you realize most
things in life are provided to you, you never truly realize how much everything can mean. As
teenagers most of us are immature and do not realize how easy it is for us to lose everything we
have. As we could lose everything and anything in a matter of seconds if we are not careful.
It was another typical Monday morning, I had that same feeling I always do when I wake up,
dreadly having to get up, use the bathroom, and brush my teeth and get ready for school. It is the
same process throughout the whole week until Friday....show more content...
The next week was a breeze and it comes down to the night before I had already packed all my stuff
that night I was told of the trip. Next morning I woke up bright and early ate breakfast and we
headed to the airport. The next few hours were mostly just traveling typical airplane food, only thing
that was interesting about the travel was the fact that during one of flights I was sat beside a drunk
idiot and then got moved up a few seats and got 3 seats all to myself! When we finally landed in
Pakistan it did not look anything different than in Canada. I thought "oh well maybe it looks the
same, and is the same" because personally I didn't know much about this place other than the fact
I had family here. When we got all our stuff and headed out in a car I noticed nothing different but
that might have been due to the fact I was kind of fatigued and the fact we were in a bigger city.
On the travel to my cousins I fell asleep, and didn't get woken up until we reached their house.
When I got out of the car I was too tired and was way to jetlagged to realize how different things
were so I went straight into the house and went back to bed.
I mostly slept for the whole first day. As I woke up by my family, they invited me to go out and try
out some of the local foods as everything here was very fresh down to

As we stopped pain shot up my left leg like a bullet. I looked automatically to my right. Nobody was there. My best friend Simon would usually stand there, as he had in the war before, I could imagine the grin on his face. The images of all those years ago started to play in my mind... It began when we were assembled in the safety of the trench. Then we heard those dreaded words that can make a man throw up with fear for his life. "Go! Over the top men, go!" I froze, not breathing, not even blinking I was paralysed, standing there motionless, my legs as solid as...show more content... Then, turning my head again I saw Simon dive to my aid. He did not utter a single word but just gave a faint grin then promptly looked down at my leg and set to work. He freed me and with a little help I made it to the safety of the next shell hole. I owed him my life. Simon refused to stop. He climbed up again to help the others. I tried to tug him back but my efforts were worthless; seen as I was wounded. Gun shots and shell fire pounded my ears like a right hand from a heavy weight boxer. I will never forget the next sound I heard. I knew it was the end so I looked up at the morning sun and prayed towards the heavens. I could hear the screams penetrating throughout my mind. Now I'm standing here about to march on to fight in another war, fighting for my dear friend. When will man kind learn? Now, however, I fear this time I might not be so lucky, especially now, without Simon, who I did not even get a chance to thank for saving my life. Now I try to put the thoughts out of my mind with a tear in my eye turning away from the other soldiers so they cannot see. I can see a large church in front of me and can hear the sounds of children playing. I begin to think about the contrast. The young, blameless children playing happily with each other only a short distance away from where us, the adults are contemplating what lies ahead hideously slaughtering the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Narrative Essay Examples Narrative Essay I step my foot into public school for the first time ever my freshman year, not knowing a single person other than my brother. Prior to my freshman year, I was homeschooled. The school feels really big at the time and it's very overwhelming. As I walk around I see people hugging, reuniting, and saying, "oh my gosh I have missed you!" All I am worrying about is what people are thinking of me like, does she have any friends, or she looks like a loner. I am getting nervous and more nervous every second that passes. I decide I need to go straight to my classroom, but I have no idea where to go. I finally make my way to my classroom, then I sit down, and the bell rings. "The day is just beginning," I think to myself....show more content... I am halfway through the day. After this long day it's still not over yet, I am just half way through the day going into 5th period. As I walked in I see a girl I already met and I wanted to run and give her a hug, I was so excited to see someone I already knew. I didn't have to worry where I was going to sit that period, or who I was going to talk to. I probably looked like the happiest person in the world with a big smile on my face. As I am smiling as I say, "hello, Claire right?" She says, "Yes!" We sit together, exchange social media usernames, and numbers. Later, I go to 6th period, my science class. When we come in the teacher says to talk with people to sit in alphabetical order. I am placed next to a kid named Dominic Thomas, and his buddy is sitting on the other side of me. They were acting like I didn't exist, and getting in my personal space. Later, the teacher says, "The person sitting at your table will be your lab partner." That's when I found out Dominic Thomas will be my lab partner for the quarter. I did not know what was coming for me. Finally, 7th period here I come. Now this class was one crazy class, with some crazy people, but it was all good because I get to leave after this period. The bell rings and I am out of there. Leaving school I am feeling many emotions, I am happy to leave, excited to tell my mom about all I experienced that day, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Personal Narrative My Life Essay Personal Narrative My Life I never really thought about where my life was going. I always believed life took me where I wanted to go, I never thought that I was the one who took myself were I wanted to go. Once I entered high school I changed the way I thought. This is why I chose to go to college. I believe that college will give me the keys to unlock the doors of life. This way I can choose for myself where I go instead of someone choosing for me. I have chosen to go to the local community college to get used to the college experience. College life can be an exciting time but at the same time it can be a challenge. I feel that starting out at the community college would be a better chose than "jumping" into life at a...show more content... I know this is what I want to do with my life. I want to be a positive influence in the lives of children. I want to be able to stand up and show the children that it is okay to be yourself and stand up for what you believe in. I am a well round student. For nine years I was actively involved in a girls organization. This experience taught me many things. We were actively involved in community service activities, for which I received the Silver Award. ( The second highest award in the organization.) I learned about the value of friendship and patients with others. This organization first introduced me to my future career. I was also involved for three and a half years in a student government club on campus. In this club I learned many life lessons. One of which was the value of hard work. I was one of the few people that organized the Junior/Senior Prom of 2000. My responsibilities included planning corranation, buying and organizing decorations, planning the busing schedule, booking the photographers, fundraising, ect. This taught me about hard work. But the best part of it was going to Prom knowing I was one of the only reasons that it happened. As far as school goes, my schedule is very diverse. I am taking child development lab, which is a class where students from my high school can go to the local elementary schools and work one on one with the students. I have work in the elementary school for two and a half years. I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Literacy Narrative Essay example At this point in my life I find myself in an interesting predicament regarding my attitudes toward reading and writing; more so towards reading. Years ago I used to love reading books for pleasure but nowadays I find myself reading things that little to no effort to digest. This includes the very basic posts on facebook expressing one's opinion on something or articles and threads on reddit discussing topics I find intriguing. Perhaps it's the severe senioritis that has overcome me as I enter my last semester at Chapman University. As I've gotten lazier I can see it start to reflect in my everyday life. Deep down I still love to read but I rarely find myself getting truly invested into the action unless it relates to something I am very...show more content... You can feed the mind as much as you want and it will never get full of reading. Sadly, I'm not the same person that I was. I guess you could say it's part of growing up. It never really was intentional but it's just the way how it ended up. On the other hand my attitudes toward writing are very different. First let me say that deep down I truly do not like to write. I myself don't personally like to write for leisure or pleasure but rather I write because I believe it is one of the most important aspects of being able to communicate with those around you, both personally and professionally. To put differently, my attitude towards writing is that I write because I need to write and survive in the world around me. I write because I have to, not because I want to. Hopefully this somewhat makes sense. To better explain let me make a comparison. When I am assigned a writing assignment or I am writing because the action is being forced upon me I find myself not enjoying the process and overall the end result is subpar. The perfect example of this would be my junior year in high school when I was enrolled in AP english literature. I dreaded the majority of the class simply because there was so much writing involved in the entire course and therefore I was constantly writing just to get a grade. Being forced to write in such high volume every week for an entire school year was not enjoyable for myself and as a result the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Essay on My Family History My Family History Family history is very important to an individual. By knowing where you come from, you can have a better perspective of your life. Having a clear understanding of your family background allows you to better appreciate the things that you would normally take for granted. The house, the car, and the average clothing may look better when one sees the sacrifices their family has made. They will see that their family has worked very hard just so their family can experience the better things in life. A persons roots and origin is one of the most important things to explore. It alone can bring you closer to self–discovery. There are two sides to a person's family and one side of my family has...show more content... On Christmas only my mother and the children (me and my brother) travel to Illinois to spend a week with my grandparents. On New Years Eve we all get together at my parents' house in New Jersey and toast to the New Year with champagne and apple cider. During Labor Day weekend all of my family travels to South Jersey to my grandfathers' condo. We usually spend all of our time on the beach and barbequing, except on Sunday when we go to church. After all, my grandfather is a minister. One of our biggest family traditions is going back to Puerto Rico. Every year my mother and I travel back to Puerto Rico for a portion of our summer vacation. Now that I am older I travel there more often and stay there much longer. My father never joins because he doesn't like my mothers side of the father too much and he thinks that we when we speak Spanish we are all plotting against him. Of course that's not true though. My bother doesn't speak Spanish so he doesn't like to go either. I guess that tradition is one that belongs solely to my mother and I. The role of the people in family basically stayed the same for most of the generations with a little change in the later generations. Earlier the males were the only ones that worked in the family and the wife stayed at home and took care of the house and Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. The Story of My Life Essay This explains the beginning of my life all the way to the end of my life. My life from the beginning was very fun as I grew up living with my mom's friend and my friend. But there were a lot of fights and I was very hyper back then. I have ADHD so back then when I was little; I was very hyper and wouldn't stop moving around the place. I always was annoying back then and never seemed to get my homework done at school. I was born at Kaiser Hospital during the year 1996. The first place I lived was on the street Via Harriet and was right next to a train. It was always noisy when the train passed by because it shook the house and scared all the animals. It wasn't the best place to live, but we eventually moved to the hills, I don't remember...show more content... Overall I know that I'm going to graduate because I'm pushing hard and all I need to finish is my Cyber High and keep up my grades and I will graduate. I want to go to Chabot College because it's the closest place to go to. I am planning to get my associates degree then transfer to Cal State East Bay University. I don't exactly know the requirements of classes to get into Cal State, but as long as I get my AA degree I should be fine. I am focused on technology and computers; I like to choose classes that can be similar to wiring or soldering. I am not that sure if I would be more focused on computers or wiring, I think an Internship might help me out. My career would be Technician or Electrician because I'm focused on electricity and wanting to discover what would happen without getting electrocuted. I'm still unsure if I just want to work on physical components on the computer. I used to work on computers a lot, but it got boring and I can't do it as great now. Soldering is interesting for me because I get to repair broken wires, being able to strip a wire. When striping a wire, you get to know how the wire is connected. I think a life event for me is to grab my master's degree, which is what I'm focused on. That's like the best degree to get, but it's really difficult to receive. I wouldn't like going to years and years of education, but it's totally worth it. Getting a higher degree affects the amount Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. Memorable Experience Essay Throughout life I have had many memorable events. The memorable times in my life vary from being the worst times in my life and some being the best, either way they have become milestones that will be remembered forever. The best day of my life was definitely the day that I received my drivers' license. This day is one of the most memorable because of the feelings I had when I received it, the opportunities that were opened up for me and the long lasting benefits that I received from it that still exist today. Getting my drivers' license was an intense feeling that I will never forget. Driving fast in a car may be unsafe but the thrill and excitement of high rates of speed gave me a rush I had never felt before. Seeing, feeling and hearing everything go by faster made the whole driving experience so much better. My mouth watered with envy as I approached the drivers' seat every time I went out for a drive. The automobile, as a whole, became a high interest of mine; the styling, the sound and the speed of it. I loved driving and I loved cars and all of this new found love was from the birth of my drivers' license. Such a simple piece of paper opened up such a broad area of learning for me; it was of much amazement to me. Receiving my drivers' license was the best day of my life. It will be remembered forever because of the feelings, experience and new beginnings that it gave me. Today, I still hold my interest in the automobile but the thrill of driving has dulled significantly since I receive many traffic tickets and went through a period of license suspension. But, still, that day remains the best day of my life. The day I received my drivers' license will never be forgotten for as long as I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. Narrative Essay Examples Narrative Essay As times goes on you, realize life isn't all it seems to be. You learn life lessons and certain life events teach you things that can lead to you improving yourself as a person. As you realize most things in life are provided to you, you never truly realize how much everything can mean. As teenagers most of us are immature and do not realize how easy it is for us to lose everything we have. As we could lose everything and anything in a matter of seconds if we are not careful. It was another typical Monday morning, I had that same feeling I always do when I wake up, dreadly having to get up, use the bathroom, and brush my teeth and get ready for school. The next week was a breeze and it comes down to the night before I had already packed all my stuff that night I was told of the trip. Next morning I woke up bright and early ate breakfast and we headed to the airport. The next few hours were mostly just traveling typical airplane food, only thing that was interesting about the travel was the fact that during one of flights I was sat beside a drunk idiot and then got moved up a few seats and got 3 seats all to myself! When we finally landed in Pakistan it did not look anything different than in Canada. I thought "oh well maybe it looks the same, and is the same" because personally I didn't know much about this place other than the fact I had family here. When we got all our stuff and headed out in a car I noticed nothing different but that might have been due to the fact I was kind of fatigued and the fact we were in a bigger city. On the travel to my cousins I fell asleep, and didn't get woken up until we reached their house. When I got out of the car I was too tired and was way to jetlagged to realize how different things were so I went straight into the house and went back to bed. I mostly slept for the whole first day. As I woke up by my family, they invited me to go out and try out some of the local foods as everything here was very fresh down to Get more content on HelpWriting.net
