When used with monitored fire alarm systems as defined in BS 5839 ‘series’ and /
or ‘end of line’ resistors can be incorporated. Maximum allowable resistor power
dissipation is 0.5 Watts at 24 Volts. To comply with certification requirements the
resistor(s) must be fitted at the time of manufacture
