1. Tuning in: We are beginning our inquiry into natural objects. We took a nature walk around the school to see what we could find. “ The leaves are kinda yellow ‘coz they’re dead. When you hold 3 leaves in the sun, some parts turn dark.”

2. We made sure to stop and smell the flowers.

3. “ Those are worm homes” Hmmm… We found interesting things to talk about.

4. “ Paper comes from trees. The paper’s inside the tree. They get the paper by cutting them.”

5. “ There really are humans under there.”
