Curriculum Workshop.
The Field Alliance is an alliance of independent organizations
dedicated to the empowerment of Asian farmers. The Field
Alliance supports Ecological Agriculture practices through
action-based learning, networking, and advocacy.
REAL (Rural Ecology and Agricultural Livelihoods)
education is an integrated learning approach developed by
The Field Alliance and Thai Education Foundation in which
participant-learners actively explore and document
agricultural environments and ecosystems in order to gain an
understanding of ecology and develop critical thinking skills
with respect to environmental, health, and social issues. This
movement is closely associated with the Integrated Pest
Management (IPM) programs supported by the UN Food and
Agriculture Organization (FAO). The REAL education model
is currently being used with farmers through Farmer Field
Schools as well as with students within formal and non-
formal education systems.

Transportation
Transportation among venues will be provided via pre-
scheduled private van service. Public transportation in
Chachoensao is limited but can be arranged though the hotel
or TEF staff if needed.
