3. EARLYLIFEOF AMANGUPTA
 He was born in Delhi. He also got his
education from Delhi itself. Coming
under the pressure of the family, he
joined CA, but he was not looking
forward to CA.
 Still, he took the decision to complete
CA. After completing CA, he wanted to
start a startup of his own, But still he
worked in a company for 2 years. After
this, he gave the job in the middle to
start his own startup.

4. AMAN GUPTA‘S CAREER PATH
 Aman Gupta started his career with Citi as the Assistant Manager from March 2003 to
August 2005.
 He co-founded Advanced Telemedia Pvt. Ltc. and served as its CEO from September
2005 to March 2010.
 From June 2011 to February 2012, Gupta served as the senior management consultant at
KMPG.
 He was associated with Harman International, a Samsung company, as its India sales
director from March 2012 to December 2013.
 He co-founded Imagine Marketing in April 2014.
 Sameer Mehta and Aman Gupta co-founded BoAt in January 2016 and is currently
serving as its CMO.

5.  After completing CA, he wanted to start a startup of his own, But still he worked in a
company for 2 years. After this, he gave the job in the middle to start his own startup.
 After leaving his job, he started a business with his father. However, he did not have
any family business. If he had anything, it was his father’s experience and his warm
blood to start his own business.
 When he started the business himself, he was not even aware of what a sale would be.
He did business with his father for 4-5 years. In this, he used to sell the products of
other brands in India. Then he started working as a salesman in a company. There too
he worked for only 2 years and after that he gave the resigned there too. And by then
his age was 35 years old. And after giving the resigned , he sat in the house for a few
days. And in the meantime he started thinking in whom he is fascinate

6.  In the end, he started a brand of his own, which we
and you know as boAt. When he started his own
brand, at that time there were already 200 brands in
the market. Because of this, wherever he used to go
to get loans, he used to refuse them saying that
“there are already many brands in the market,
what will you do?”
 The bank also refuses to give them loans as they do
not have any assets. Later he started boAt along with
his friend Sameer. Sameer started working from
Mumbai at that time and he himself started working
by sitting in a restaurant in Delhi.

7. GUPTA’SBOATJOURNEY
 Initially, in 2016, the company started as a manufacturer and seller of cable. The first-ever product
released by boAt was an Apple charger that later became the highest selling product on Amazon. The
objective of the startup was to provide customers with cheap and affordable electronic products.
Keeping this aim in their minds, the founders- Aman Gupta and Sameer Mehta launched boAT. Within 4
years of the company’s launch, boAT went on to become the best brand for musical electronic products
such as headphones and earphones

8.  In an interview, Aman stated that they believe in earning money and
not burning it. From the very first year, the company has been
profitable. Its main goal is to sell durable, affordable, and stylish
products. In 2020, boAt became the fifth largest wearable brand in
the world. The company’s brand ambassadors include Jacquline
Fernandes, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, and more celebrities. The
company was founded in 2016. It has emerged as India’s No. 1
Audioware brand. Aman took boAt to new heights in five years with
his entrepreneurship skills and hard work.

9. • In 2019, he won Businessworld Young Entrepreneur Award and
was listed as an under 40 achiever in 2020.
• Followed by 2020, he won Entrepreneur of the Year.
• Later, in 2021 he won Lokmat Most Stylish Entrepreneur of the
year.
• Similarly, he was listed in the Top Entrepreneur India tech 25
class in 2019.
• His brand stood up a standard among World’s Top wearable
brands.

10.  Aman’s hard work and dedication to his company are very inspiring. Hard work
is the key to success. It teaches us determination and persistence. Before boAt,
Aman worked at several companies. Finally, he found his true calling in the
entrepreneurial world. Being an entrepreneur is not easy. You must constantly
look for opportunities and always make the best of them. Lastly, always try to
learn from your mistakes and never lose hope.
