1. Treatment<br />“Don’t look behind”<br />The title of our film is called “Don’t look behind” was chosen because it tells the audience about how the main character gets paranoid of what’s happening to her and that she’s scared of what she might see behind her. This creates a creepy atmosphere to the film as viewers are constantly apprehensive of what’s behind the main character which keeps them on edge.<br />Out target audience is from teenagers to young adults aged roughly between 15 – 25 year olds as we have found out in our questionnaire that the people that watch more of the thriller horror type films are most teenagers as they enjoy the scare and suspense of what is going to happen.<br />Our theme of the film is murder/mystery and paranormal activity which are the predominate themes of our film as murder plays a big part to the movie because there are many scenes of where the little girl kills her victims which is also a paranormal type film because the little girl is a ghost and she haunts the main characters. Mystery is another theme as it is portrayed in the film because the characters start to investigate why these paranormal activities take place.<br />Our main characters are the lead female role, the little girl who haunts her victims who is a big part in the film as the story behind the film is all about her. Also there is the husband of the lead female who acts as the comfort blanket for the woman as she gets paranoid a lot because of what’s happening to her and he also helps her to investigate what’s going on.<br />The camera angles/shots that we might use are close ups of the main female character to show her emotions and feelings towards her paranoia, panning shots and long shots to show scenery and to show that what she sees it her imagination which create effect of the woman going crazy. Also other shots are over the shoulder shot to shot what the character can see, medium shots of the characters to show their body language and zooming shots.<br />Our film is about a woman who is being haunted by her little sister who she killed when they were little and now her little sister has come back to haunt her and get her revenge. This leads the woman to defend for her self and with the help of her husband try stop her sister from killing her.<br />Our final idea is about a woman who’s walking home from work as she starts to hear laughter of a young girl and then feels like she's being followed by someone. As she looks back to see, there is nothing behind her and all she sees is a park where the swings and roundabout are moving on their own. The woman gets paranoid and walks faster to get home. As she gets through her door she hears a loud door slam upstairs and calls out to see if it’s her husband. No one answers back so she goes to investigate. While she's walking around her house she hears laughter coming from all directions and then she's led in to her bedroom. Something starts to rattle in her wardrobe and it gets louder. She gets closer to the wardrobe and starts to open the door to find a little girl wearing a scary mask on her face that jumps out at her. This leads the woman to scream and then the screen goes black.<br />We will have editing of music on top of images, one shot to another and other editing such as words being put in. also enhance the sounds of some of the background noises to make the film more creepy as the sounds create tension and suspence.<br />Music that will feature in our opening at the start will be a old nursery rhyme which relates to the little girl and the woman's past. This gives the start a creepy feel to it and gets the audience started. Other music which will feature is common horror type music playing in the background of our film where the atmosphere gets louder such as when we show the little girl following the woman around her.<br />Our production is called CrystalClear Productions and it will help our movie to get attention by creating a trailer and also advertising our film to the public through Youtube, Facebook, magazines, interviews with the actors and creators and others such as billboards and posters.<br />
