Comprehension:
*Read the passage then answer the questions :
A material is what something is made of . There are 5 basic materials :metal , glass ,wood
cloth and plastic .Most of things are made with these materials . There are some other
materials .But they are not used as much as these 5 materials .
Metal is very heavy .And it’s very hard and strong .We use metal to make lots of things
like forks and knives , keys and cars . We use it in these things because it’s very strong .
Glass is very smooth .It is hard but not strong .We use it for windows and eye glasses .
Wood is lighter than metal and glass . We use it to make chairs tables and pencils .
Things made of wood are usually strong ,light , and hard .
Cloth is light and soft . It is used to make clothing and blankets .
Plastic is light. Sometime it’s soft and sometime it is hard. Plastic can be used to make
thin bags and bicycle helmets.
