Oyilattam

Kai Silambattam
This type of dance is performed during the time of Navratri or
Amman festivals in temples. The dancers hold the anklets or

dance and especially goddess Kali.

It is the dance performed only by men and they dance in by balancing
a purasai or teak wood pole with coconut or pot of milk fixed at both

Lord Murugan. This is not only performed by the professional dances
but also by the common people who visit the temple.
Kolaattam
This is the dance that is performed only by the women holding two
sticks in both the hands. When they beat the sticks there will be a
sound produced and they make that as the rhythm and dance
accordingly. Pinnal kolattam involves making some lace patterns
using some ropes. This is performed during the festival, Deepavali
cultural holidays for 1 week to 10 days.
Bommalattam
It is the puppet show that is made of cloth, wood, leather, etc.
