CRY is a charity that aims to reduce undiagnosed cardiac deaths in young people through heart screenings, programs, and medical research. 2. About C-R-Y
C-R-Y (cardiac risk in the young), are a
charity that have set out to reduce
undiagnosed cardiac deaths, at least 12
young people die every week of
undiagnosed heart conditions. CRY
promotes and develops heart
screening’s, programs and funds
medical research.
3. My Idea
Firstly I want an image of a dark house, and it
is raining outside. There is a child that is crying
in the corner with a note saying that he has just
been diagnosed with a heart condition.
There is a knock on the door and one of the
CRY representatives walks in. He slowly walks
over to the crying child and reaches out for his
hand. In a calm voice he whispers ‘’you’re not
alone’’. A light flashes and the child appears in
hospital and the weather has turned around
and its sunny out. Finally the slogan appears
‘’no more tears need to be shed’’ and it fades to
black.
4. Concept
The concept of my idea is how CRY is
helping teenagers with heart conditions,
as shown in my animation the child has
been diagnosed with a heart condition, I
wanted to empathize this point as it is
very serious so I have made it the
concept of my idea.
6. Animation Style
I want to use a few style:
- Real footage = The characters (so the child
and the man
representing CRY), and also the weather(e.g.
the rain and thunder)
- Clay = The house (clay is easy to create
different objects, and if needed changed very
easily)
7. Target Audience
As these heart conditions CRY deal with
can happen with no symptoms it can
happen at random, but the main ages to
get diagnosed is (14 – 35).
Mainly the target audience will go to
sporty people or anyone who could or
has been effected by this, if people are
unsure talk to cry about what you can
do.
