Teen horror
1. Teen Horrors
• Most Teen Horrors are filled with dread, hatred, loathing and excitement. From my
research I believe that there has to be teenagers in the film and aspects of vile and
hatred. We so rarely see characters in horror movies that are smart and likable,
however we almost know when a characters going to either get harmed or killed, we
know this because of the type of music that is played or the lighBng in the scene. A
good teen horror film to realize that the actors are going to be aEacked is Scream, It
has tense moments in this film because when the vicBm is chosen they get a phone
call from a serial killer telling them that there going to be killed. Another good film is
Final DesBnaBon 3, in this film when the vicBm is chosen to be killed (as they cheated
death) we know when its going to happen, as most of the Bme its just the actor on
their own in a scene and the main character finds a clue in her pictures. In conclusion
to this research I believe that in the most famous teen horrors from my research that
they have a way of showing when the horrific parts of the films are happening, I
believe they do this to create tension and seat‐jumping affects.
