Reflecting on My/Our Performance
What went well: the make up
The face paint went really well. Everyone complemented and thought it
looked really good.
Everyone enjoyed the performance because it was original and also because
no one actually performed a mime performance in our school before. Also
because it was a different take on mime, it was mainly based on comedy.
What did not go well: lighting and sound
I had to wait for a couple of seconds for the lighting and sound to come and
this made is long for the audience, as they had to wait to. I also think that
this affected the atmosphere of the feel of the performance and the mood it
created.
How will I/we prevent this happening next time:
Make sure that I point it out to the lighting and sound technician and talk to
them clearly so the understand how it should be. This will avoid us on
waiting for the lighting or a specific sound FX .
What I have learned:
I have learned how to follow and act during a performance. I have also
learned that I should give constructive criticism when you think that some
ones idea doesn’t go so work towards common goals.
