2. Our Story
Emmanuel Kuewor and his close friends James
Vodzi and Ignatius King were life-long educators
who shared a dream - to open a school for
children based on the vision and teachings
of Neohumanist education. Each of these men
had been teachers as well as school supervisors,
headmasters or inspectors.
Their dream slowly became reality.
The school opened its doors in September, 2016. …
3. Changing the future of
Ghana one child at a time…
Ananda Marga Neohumanist Academy offers Creche care,
Nursery and Kindergarten and limited early Primary classes at
affordable fees. We aim to help mold the character and values
needed for children to embrace and imbibe the vision of
Neohumanism. To do this we focus not only on academic
achievement, but also strive to:
• instill creativity through the arts
• cultivate love and care for the natural environment
• teach how to apply human and ethical values in day-to-day
situations
• inspire students to ignite and satisfy their naturally
inquisitive minds.

5. You Can Build Upon Success!
Your continued generosity has established
the school and enabled it to develop.
Through the dedicated efforts of our staff,
the school has flourished and now has an
ever increasing number of students. In fact,
we're ‘busting at the seams'!
The school has become too small to take
proper care of our more than 180 children.
The parents’ demand and expectation is that
their children continue with us into higher
classes. And there is a waiting list for
preschool. So we need to build more
classrooms!
6. We now have two
urgent priorities:
Covid relief for teachers and staff
The closure of schools due to Covid 19 has meant no
fees, no income and our inability to pay salaries. In
recent months through generous donations we’ve
been able to pay two months of salary.
Your support can help a teacher and her family
provide their basic needs during this crises period.
Completion of two new classrooms
Work is under way to complete two more classroom
before classes resume in January, 2021. This work,
including to furnish these and another completed
classroom requires approximately Euros 10,000.
7. Construction of much needed 2nd
story classrooms nearly completed
Over the past few months supporters like you
have enabled 2 new classrooms to be
completed. We have one more to go in this
phase of development, and only one month
before classes resume!

their horizons.
