2. What is the Digital OliveTree?
Digital Olive Tree (DOT) is an Environmental Project
which addressed to all Mediterranean Olive Groves.
3. How it will offer innovative environmental
solutions?
1. It will offer UAV's surveillance services to every
Mediterranean olive grove against illegal logging
2. It will organize R&D in site experiments against the
olive tree fly (Dacus) with the help of ultra-sounds and
motion scanning sensors.
3. It will organize R&D activities based on sensors
metering and analyzing regarding the "Just In Time"
maturity - collection of the olives from the olive tree.
4. Why Medi-DOT?
Because we trust thousands of years of faith in the olive
oil and all related olive products and we believe that our
cause is totally focused in the Mediterranean
Environment and Olive Grove Ecosystems in Greece,
Italy and Spain.
Finally, we believe that Mediterranean Olive Groves
could offer to Mediterranean Communities an
unbelievable advantage regarding home made
agriculture.

Statistically speaking the Mediterranean is the largest
producer in olive oil.
Greece is the third biggest producer on Earth.
