Car Booking & Recommendation System is a web-based application that helps users to choose the desired car based on user behavior i.e. it depends on their input like budget, desired model, brand, etc., and book the car through our system. In the context of Nepal, the recommendation system is one of the most useful tools that can help users quickly recommend any items based on their preferences. Recommendation systems are designed to find the best products, services, or information from a large set of available choices. These systems have been around for quite some time, but they have become more advanced and commonplace in the digital age in which we live.

2. Introduction
Car Booking & Recommendation System is web-based application

3. Problem Definition
● Car selection is a complicated and time-consuming
process. The increase in the number of cars, their range of
prices, and the variety of specifications means that
customers spend an average of five-six weeks
researching the right car for them.
● This problem is particularly acute in Nepal, where the car
market has seen unprecedented growth within the past
few years.

4. Objectives
● To develop a web-based car booking & recommendation
system that can provide users with personalized car
recommendations based on their individual needs and
preferences.
● To make car dealers easier to sell different car models through a
recommender system.

● Cardekho.com - An online resource for research and information on
new and used cars in India.
● Hamrobazaar.com - An online marketplace for buying and selling
automobiles and other varieties of stuffs in Nepal.
● AutoTrader.com - An online marketplace for buying and selling cars

6. Project Flow
1. User enters “budget”, “year”, “preferred brand”, “fuel type” and
any special preference.
2. The data goes to the backend, process the best matches and
returns output. After that, a new page is rendered that shows
the output.
3. Along with the output, user can view other details like
specification of each car.
4. User will also get a way to book a test drive for car & enquiry
about it.
