On Wednesday, October 11th a co
–worker and I went to Washington Square to present the
Assessment of Fair Housing AFH. We had a pretty small turnout, but everyone that attended
seemed interested in the presentation and participated in the discussion afterwards. We asked if
anyone had experienced any issues with fair housing in the past and if they were able to resolve it.
One woman said, "I had an issue here and I have not been able to resolve it". I asked her if she
wanted to talk about it and she replied that she did not. A little later she leaned over to me and
asked if she could talk to me after the presentation. I said yes of course and while we were packing

The tenant went back to her unit and called 911. Officer Bass of the Bellingham Police Department
was the one that responded. The Tenant has a police report from that night and the officer referred
her to Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault DVSAS and he promised to get back to her which he
has not.
The tenant said that attending weekly counseling sessions at DVSAS has helped her immensely
and she has realized that she may never know the details of that night. She said that she has been
ostracized by some of his friends that leave signs on his door that say some people are just liars or
some women are desperate for attention. In fact, the man that came back into the meeting after it
was over and saw she was still with us, is his good friend. The tenant says that she sees him every
single day and that he makes lewd comments to her in the hallway. He told her that he can hear
her in the shower, and when she does take a shower as soon as she is done he knocks on her door,

the Housing Authority or not. She asked Doug if she could please move to another unit and he said

I had always loved funfairs and similar things but this one on and around the boardwalk had a
unique vintage feel to it. It was as if it was pulled from the 40s and put in a modern world.
Throughout the day, smiles were continually exchanged with the redhead. In many lines, just walking
through the fair, on some rides, at stalls, we seemed to meet everywhere. I was able to, at certain

When students were talking to the recruiters, they used body languages. The body language they
used eye contacts, and hand motions when they are trying to illustrate what they say. Students were
seeking the information on whether do they satisfy the job requirements or what are the goals of the
companies. Recruiters and students engaged in small talk, and I think the purpose of the small talk
was to gain the information about the corporation. The small talks usually ended within six minutes.
Students who were seeking job opportunities were using "what" and "could" when they started
questioning. There are similarities from the YouTube video that I watched in class compare with the

Today I had the opportunity to attend the Business and Technology Career Fair. Since I am a
junior and previously a business student, I have some experience with this fair. My visit this time
was very different from my two prior years since I am now a Kinesiology major and I am
somewhat of an outsider to the majority of companies offering internships. Upon reading the
requirements of this assignment I was unsure about who I was going to speak with but little did I
know I would only have to do half of the work.

I approached this company because of my love for Amazon as a company, but also because they had
listed they were interested in hiring human science majors on CyHire. The woman I spoke with told
me about an internship/co–op entitled "Air Project Manager". This internship was directed more
towards Business majors, but she did say if I applied I could be a competitive candidate given the
fact I do have some business classes on my resume. As the conversation concluded I asked her give
me her take on what the outlook for jobs within Amazon looked like for the coming years and she
said they hope to see substantial growth in the next few years with the opening of an additional

In conclusion, my attendance to this career fair was about what I expected given the fact I didn't
think very many businesses would be offering internships to aspiring physician's assistants. One

Fair Description
We were on our way to the fair! Driving along the bumpy road feeling the strong and powerful
breeze in our face. On our way there the sky was full of beautiful colors from the sunset like
yellow, red, orange, and pink. The colors filled in the color of the white clouds. Stars were starting
to come out while we heard the frogs, crickets, and the beeping from the horns of cars. When we
arrived at the fair we could already smell the fries from the concession stands. While we were
walking up the steep green hill we were confronted by screams and laughs of joy. We went up to

When it started it went around and around and it felt like we were floating. When we got off we
were extremely dizzy and nauseous. Most of the rides we rode had the same affect on us as the
first one. When we got on the ferris wheel and we reached the top, the fairgrounds were so

Life is not fair. That is the one thing that high school actually manages to teach you throughout the
four years that you're stuck rotating through their system. High school had been too late for me. I
learned when I was in middle school that life does not go as planned. In middle school, I was given
