Phlebotomy Personal Statement
The reason why I selected the Clinical Laboratory Technology Program: I felt if I need a change
in my life and career. I knew this was a great opportunity for me to explore more in the medical
laboratory science field. After, being a Phlebotomist for several years I just wanted to do more;
such as, being more involved with the breakdown of the process of results. Phlebotomy is great
but it's a limit on how much you can and a great mind want's to explore. Now that I 'am in the
CLT program it has really open my eyes to a whole new world of operating in the medical
laboratory science. Phlebotomy has prepared me to move farther with the knowledge that I have
gained. Even thought, I've had great opportunities seeing all areas in the lab and knowing

Following receiving my M.B.A. as I began to age I began to notice that it takes me a lot more work
to maintain a slender build than it had in the past. I also noticed that the portion sizes at traditional
restaurants that I frequent began to get larger in spite of the fact that I was not burning the calories
off any faster, actually slower. After this self–reflection, I went on a family trip and I have a cousin
who has a 12–year–old daughter that is extremely overweight, be definition she would be obese. I
noticed that the mother did not contain he child's eating at all. The child ate whatever she wanted in
the amount that she wanted. I then heard the mother state that she, "Hopes that she can lose weight,"
but my thought was that you're not do anything to help this cause. This led me to want to go into
the field of dietetics as the nutritional care needs of people of all ages captivate me and because of
the lack of knowledge and incorrect knowledge found on the internet, I want to be a person entrusted

Personal Statement Diverse and inclusive learning environments are important to me because I am
an immigrant. I arrived from Mexico when I was nineteen years old and since I put a foot into this
country, I learned that I was not welcome. Writing about me it's a little hard. I have so many
memories that I would like to share but I especially want to tell you one story that might change the
way you see immigrants like me. I have been living in the United States since 2006. I'm a victim
of human trafficking that survived and overcame many barriers. Moreover, the fact that I suffered
so much during so many years made me stronger and also helped me to feel that the world should
know that human trafficking is the modern form of slavery. The reason that I want to be a
journalist and communicator is because I want to be the voice of the people that cannot speak.
Hopefully, one day I will be able to help others with the power of information. I want to work for the
Latina community because the lack of education makes them victims of several crimes. I'm a single

Diversity in a learning environment helps students to be more respectful of others' cultures. This
also encourages students to have an open mind set to accept the differences of others by helping
them to become better human beings. Today I believe that education is a way to demonstrate
those who are against immigrants that we are capable enough to follow our dreams and also help
to inspire other immigrants to believe in themselves. We need to shape another face for immigrants
because we are more than just a blue collar force. Education also helps minorities to lower their
rates of violence by encouraging them to raise their voices in order to defend

Special Education Personal Statement
Personal Statement "A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops." – Henry
B. Adams. For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to play a big part in children's
education, which is why I have decided to enroll for an education course. I believe that educators
have a lifelong impact on their students and on the development of resilience. Thus, I aspire to
inculcate my love for learning into the next generation, by influencing and inspiring children all
through their formal education.
I have distinctly applied for Special Needs Education because special education has always been
what's near and dear to me in the field of education. Being a special education teacher would be an
inevitably rewarding job, in which I get to watch my students grow, as I celebrate their small
breakthroughs and victories with them. These small breakthroughs and victories will improve over
time and turn into giant leaps, which will leave a lasting impact and ultimately change the child's
life. Beyond just educating children with special needs, I aspire to educate the public about
children with special needs and special education. By doing so, I hope to remove any uncertainty
and fear the public has on this group of children. Not only do I want to impart knowledge on these
special children, I also want to advocate for them, which is something that goes...show more content...

My first exposure to dentistry, out of the chair, came when I began babysitting for a dentist. He
worked on the weekends, and his daughter and I would tag along. Initially I stayed as far away
from the dentist chair as possible, but later, I became curious, and gradually observant. By the time
I reached high school, I was intrigued by every aspect of dentistry. The procedures quickly turned
from one of torment into something more familiar. Coming from a family of engineers and
contractors, I recognized the doctor's instruments because they were similar to tools I had grown up
watching my father use. I began to think of dentistry as performing small scale construction in a
small hole. Performing such intricate procedures while simultaneously utilizing my mind and hands
both excited me and complimented my detail attentive personality. Since my interest first peaked, I
have continued towards my goal to become a dentist, not only through high academic achievement,
but with life experience. I obtained my dental radiography license and worked as a dental assistant
during high school and was provided with the opportunity to observe a variety of dental procedures.
I also gained exposure to the additional responsibilities of a dental professional ranging from the
billing process to dealing with insurance companies. I got a glimpse of the organizational skills

Personal Statement For Environmental Engineering
Preserving the environment is one of the most critical issues we are facing today. How we act now
will determine the fate of future generations. What really inspired me to consider environmental
engineering as a profession was my Advanced Placement Environmental Science class in high school
– it opened my eyes to global issues such as overpopulation, loss of biodiversity, inefficient energy
sources, irresponsible waste disposal, etc. – and it motivated me to want to do something about it.
What I want to ultimately accomplish in this field of work is facilitate the growth of the use of
renewable energy sources, support responsible population reduction initiatives, and develop
agricultural practices that ensure food and water security for every single person on the planet. The
nature of the work varies depend on what one wants to specialize in. Many engineers work in office
settings (with a great deal of operational record keeping, paperwork, and technical reports), but it
often requires hands–on work and on–site oversight, especially when working in construction,
ecosystem remediation, natural resource cultivation, or waste management. Oftentimes, engineers
work over 40 hours a week in order to meet deadlines and finish all their tasks. On average, daily
face–to–face, email, and telephone communication, and group collaboration with contractors, staff,
and clients are necessary for careers offered to environmental engineers. At the same time,
independent work is emphasized.

Clinical Psychology Personal Statement

It is no accident that I have chosen Roosevelt University's, MA Clinical Psychology (Counseling
Practice) program. I am particularly interested in Clinical Psychology because it is open to all kinds
of people. A person's mind and its foundation are solely based on solid principals that are both
instilled and what is gathered through our experiences. Psychology attempts to explain the mental

sophistication and competence as well as considering every aspect of a person without any

My yearning at that point geared me away from psychiatry as I believe there is a better way to treat

Personal Statement: My Personal Philosophy
My personal philosophy is made up of a combination of questions and ideas from the three branches
of philosophy: metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics. Metaphysics is the study of where the world
comes from, what it is made of, and if anything is eternal or changing. Epistemology focuses on
what we know, how we know it, and if there is any absolute truth. Ethics analyzes decision making
and morals. One of the Atomist School's principal is that "things come into existence when atoms
come together"(Philosophy Schools). I believe that everything came into existence because of the
Big Bang, where atoms, molecules, and other particles joined together under pressure to form the
universe. Based on the fact that there was always particles and atoms,...show more content...
A example of relative right and wrong is killing people. In my opinion killing innocent people is
wrong, but killing high profile criminals in not wrong. You can apply killing people to two
different scenarios and one seems right and is wrong. Another Ethics question is, how do we
determine how to behave? We determine how to behave using education from our family and
school. At a young age we may see someone behave poorly, but because we are young our brain
sees this behavior as the way to behave. We act how the people around us act because their
behavior influences everyone around them. Do we have something/someone to fear or respect?
One Epicureans principal is that "gods have nothing to do with the real world, and man has nothing
to fear from them"(Philosophy Schools). I agree with the statement that there is no higher power
that we have to fear or respect. I have found that there is no hard scientific evidence that a higher
power exists; therefore, I do not believe in a

I was born in 1981, the starting period of China's economy reform designed and implemented

infrastructure construction, observable improvement of living standards, greater enrichment of

Personal Statement On Core Value Essay
Core Value 1:
Family – Family is important to me because in my family blood is thicker than water. We are very
supportive of one another and we spend time with each other during the holidays and have family
reunions every 2–4 years. I would not be who I am without me family they are a reflection of who I
am and what I aspire to be.
Core Value 2:
Faith – Faith is important to me because I feel like I'm able to build a connection with someone that
knows me better than I know myself. While growing up I did have a hard time communicating,
making and maintaining friendship. The thought of someone out there looking out for me at my
highest and lowest moments of my life are important to me.
Core Value 3:
Leadership – I value leadership because as a child I was taught to not follow others just because
everyone else is doing it. I want to become an example for everyone in my community to follow and
by being a leader I will be able lead myself and others to success.
Strengths:
1.Intuitive – I'm good at reading in between lines and I have a good intellectual perception of
human nature. I can talk to people and determine what kind of person they are and whether they
would be a good partner or friend.
2.Determined – I'm very headstrong and determined when I'm doing something right or I'm going

  • 3. Example Of Personal Statement Essay Anayeli Villalobos Personal Statement Diverse and inclusive learning environments are important to me because I am an immigrant. I arrived from Mexico when I was nineteen years old and since I put a foot into this country, I learned that I was not welcome. Writing about me it's a little hard. I have so many memories that I would like to share but I especially want to tell you one story that might change the way you see immigrants like me. I have been living in the United States since 2006. I'm a victim of human trafficking that survived and overcame many barriers. Moreover, the fact that I suffered so much during so many years made me stronger and also helped me to feel that the world should know that human trafficking is the modern form of slavery. The reason that I want to be a journalist and communicator is because I want to be the voice of the people that cannot speak. Hopefully, one day I will be able to help others with the power of information. I want to work for the Latina community because the lack of education makes them victims of several crimes. Diversity in a learning environment helps students to be more respectful of others' cultures. This also encourages students to have an open mind set to accept the differences of others by helping them to become better human beings. Today I believe that education is a way to demonstrate those who are against immigrants that we are capable enough to follow our dreams and also help to inspire other immigrants to believe in themselves. We need to shape another face for immigrants because we are more than just a blue collar force. Education also helps minorities to lower their rates of violence by encouraging them to raise their voices in order to defend Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Prefect Personal Statement I believe I am an appropriate candidate for the role of a prefect due to my empathetic and reliable nature. In the previous months, I volunteered in a Science mentoring course run by the Mulberry School's Science Department. This invaluable opportunity enhanced my desire of helping and supporting the younger pupils for their academic success. Therefore, I am determined that I will be able to maintain and build a stronger relationship with the lower school students through the role of a prefect. Furthermore, this year, I was also involved in the Youth Conference organised my Mulberry. • 5. Special Education Personal Statement Personal Statement "A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops." – Henry B. Adams. For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to play a big part in children's education, which is why I have decided to enroll for an education course. I believe that educators have a lifelong impact on their students and on the development of resilience. Thus, I aspire to inculcate my love for learning into the next generation, by influencing and inspiring children all through their formal education. I have distinctly applied for Special Needs Education because special education has always been what's near and dear to me in the field of education. Being a special education teacher would be an inevitably rewarding job, in which I get to watch my students grow, as I celebrate their small breakthroughs and victories with them. These small breakthroughs and victories will improve over time and turn into giant leaps, which will leave a lasting impact and ultimately change the child's life. Beyond just educating children with special needs, I aspire to educate the public about children with special needs and special education. By doing so, I hope to remove any uncertainty and fear the public has on this group of children. Not only do I want to impart knowledge on these special children, I also want to advocate for them, which is something that goes...show more content... My first exposure to dentistry, out of the chair, came when I began babysitting for a dentist. He worked on the weekends, and his daughter and I would tag along. By the time I reached high school, I was intrigued by every aspect of dentistry. The procedures quickly turned from one of torment into something more familiar. Coming from a family of engineers and contractors, I recognized the doctor's instruments because they were similar to tools I had grown up watching my father use. I began to think of dentistry as performing small scale construction in a small hole. Performing such intricate procedures while simultaneously utilizing my mind and hands both excited me and complimented my detail attentive personality. Since my interest first peaked, I have continued towards my goal to become a dentist, not only through high academic achievement, but with life experience. I obtained my dental radiography license and worked as a dental assistant during high school and was provided with the opportunity to observe a variety of dental procedures. I also gained exposure to the additional responsibilities of a dental professional ranging from the billing process to dealing with insurance companies. I got a glimpse of the organizational skills necessary to run a small business. I continued gaining experiences upon entering Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 8. Sample Personal Statement I am writing this letter to express my sincere interest in Post–Graduate Year 1 residency position at New York–Presbyterian Hospital. I had the pleasure to speak to your current pharmacy resident, Dr. Amrita Singh and learn about your program at ASHP's Midyear Clinical Meeting. I am very impressed with the opportunities that are offered within your program and believe that this is an excellent match to my continued training and career goals. The New York–Presbyterian PGY–1 program provides many experiences that I look for, including an extensive variety of experiences in terms of rotation quality and patient diversity, teaching and research opportunities. I am especially enthusiastic about oncology and solid organ transplantation rotations. The interdisciplinary teaching opportunities, such as providing in–service and Grand Round presentations caught my attention immediately. Unlike many programs, this residency is adaptive and tailors to each resident's interests and goals by providing a wide array of practice settings, including inpatient, ambulatory, preventative care and practice management. • 9. Personal Statement For Environmental Engineering Preserving the environment is one of the most critical issues we are facing today. How we act now will determine the fate of future generations. What really inspired me to consider environmental engineering as a profession was my Advanced Placement Environmental Science class in high school – it opened my eyes to global issues such as overpopulation, loss of biodiversity, inefficient energy sources, irresponsible waste disposal, etc. – and it motivated me to want to do something about it. What I want to ultimately accomplish in this field of work is facilitate the growth of the use of renewable energy sources, support responsible population reduction initiatives, and develop agricultural practices that ensure food and water security for every single person on the planet. The nature of the work varies depend on what one wants to specialize in. Many engineers work in office settings (with a great deal of operational record keeping, paperwork, and technical reports), but it often requires hands–on work and on–site oversight, especially when working in construction, ecosystem remediation, natural resource cultivation, or waste management. Oftentimes, engineers work over 40 hours a week in order to meet deadlines and finish all their tasks. On average, daily face–to–face, email, and telephone communication, and group collaboration with contractors, staff, and clients are necessary for careers offered to environmental engineers. At the same time, independent work is emphasized. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. Clinical Psychology Personal Statement Personal Statement: It is no accident that I have chosen Roosevelt University's, MA Clinical Psychology (Counseling Practice) program. I am particularly interested in Clinical Psychology because it is open to all kinds of people. A person's mind and its foundation are solely based on solid principals that are both instilled and what is gathered through our experiences. Psychology attempts to explain the mental processes and how it affects a person's present and future depositions. It is a gateway to multicultural sophistication and competence as well as considering every aspect of a person without any preconception. The MA Clinical Psychology degree will not only provide stability and purpose but increase opportunities to work with diverse groups of people. It has been almost a decade, and I still have my legal pad of all the notes I had taken during my rounds with the doctor. However, one of the things that have stuck with me since was the over use of medication. My yearning at that point geared me away from psychiatry as I believe there is a better way to treat people suffering from psychological problems and disorders. In addition, psychology isn't the only passion of mine. I also studied music. The one thing science cannot duplicate is to understand musical behavior and musical experiences through the use of Music Psychology. One would agree that music is extremely therapeutic and can affect ones intelligence, psychological, physiological and social abilities. Not to mention the power of emotion I receive as a musician. • 11. Personal Statement: My Personal Philosophy My personal philosophy is made up of a combination of questions and ideas from the three branches of philosophy: metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics. Metaphysics is the study of where the world comes from, what it is made of, and if anything is eternal or changing. Epistemology focuses on what we know, how we know it, and if there is any absolute truth. Ethics analyzes decision making and morals. One of the Atomist School's principal is that "things come into existence when atoms come together"(Philosophy Schools). I believe that everything came into existence because of the Big Bang, where atoms, molecules, and other particles joined together under pressure to form the universe. Based on the fact that there was always particles and atoms,...show more content... A example of relative right and wrong is killing people. In my opinion killing innocent people is wrong, but killing high profile criminals in not wrong. You can apply killing people to two different scenarios and one seems right and is wrong. Another Ethics question is, how do we determine how to behave? We determine how to behave using education from our family and school. At a young age we may see someone behave poorly, but because we are young our brain sees this behavior as the way to behave. We act how the people around us act because their behavior influences everyone around them. Do we have something/someone to fear or respect? One Epicureans principal is that "gods have nothing to do with the real world, and man has nothing to fear from them"(Philosophy Schools). I agree with the statement that there is no higher power that we have to fear or respect. I have found that there is no hard scientific evidence that a higher power exists; therefore, I do not believe in a Get more content on HelpWriting.net

I was born in 1981, the starting period of China's economy reform designed and implemented under the leadership of Mr. De Xiaoping. All the positive sides make everybody fond of the market economy, especially my parents, both of who are managers of property development companies. My parents have great influence on me, so when I was young, I start to learn how to keep abreast of the modern society by learning the new knowledge and skills. The world is already heading toward the new economy, although there are still some turmoil in certain fields and period. I now feel that being in a diverse environment is very important to becoming a complete person. By being around people that are different, instead of those just like us, we are opened up to a completely new world that we may have never known existed. Those different than us can also teach us new things whether it is in life or in class work. I have learned that those of a different race are not that different than those in my own. The differences are only cultural. I now feel that I must go to diverse college and no longer see the sense in a college that has a large majority of just one race. Helping others is something else that I have also looked high upon. This is why for my service learning hours I chose to help young children with their schoolwork at the Don Nash Community Center. This proved to be a learning experience in itself. It required much patience and perseverance. Even though it was not easy, it was very enjoyable to see a child advance in something that you helped them in. It was very enjoyable to see those children receive good grades on their report cards. I immigrated from the Philippines to the United States with my father and two older sisters. My mother joined us after a few years. My parents instilled in me the importance of education, as well as the obstacles that may stand in the way. It is my goal to become a nurse, and eventually a nurse anesthetist. Nursing requires not only strength in knowledge, but strength in spirit and emotion, and that is what made me have the passion for this career. It has been through my early experience in participating in Carlow University's "Prepare to Care" program during my sophomore year of high school that I saw how nurses are dedicated and genuinely enjoy helping and supporting patients. Visiting different hospitals and seeing their joys in their environment convinced me that I have the qualities needed to be a nurse. • 16. Example Of Personal Statement From a very young age my parents instilled in me a deep appreciation for literature. Horacio Quiroga, Richard Bach, Louisa M. Nonetheless, the pursuit of my intellectual goals has never been as straightforward as I envisioned growing up. • 19. Example Of A Personal Statement Essay Personal Statement I was born in Iran to Afghan parents who fled Afghanistan during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. Iran is notorious for denying basic human rights to refugees and my family was no exception. Although I was born in Iran, I nor any other member of my family held a fraction of the rights granted to Iranian citizens. Introduction to criminology was the pivotal course that cemented my passion for law. During this course, I learned about various issues that indigenous Canadians, women, youth, and people of colour face in our criminal justice system.
