The Prado is located in
Paseo del Prado, between
Atocha and Plaza de
Neptuno, next to Retiro Park.
It’s considered one of the
most important museums in
the world.

3. Crystal Palace
This museum is located in Atocha. The building was orginally the Madrid general
Hospital until it became the museum we know and love in 1992.
This museum features some of the most important Spanish artists from the 20th
century, like Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dalí.

4. Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum
In its beginning, these works belonged to
the of the Thyssen-Bornemisza family’s
private collection , but the Spanish
Government bought it in 1992.
This museum is very unique in
comparison to the others, showing art
from foreign and more modern artists.
It’s located between Plaza de Neptuno
and Plaza de Cibeles.
