This document discusses how different ways of knowing have impacted the author's learning experiences in visual arts. It outlines three ways of knowing - language, perception, and emotion - that the author explored in their IB art studies. For language, they researched contextual information and translated myths from different cultures. Their perception was influenced by analyzing Edvard Munch's painting "The Scream" alongside a simplified version. Emotion also informed their work as they considered how pieces make viewers feel.
