Samsung galaxy s3 most encountered problems and solutions
1. Samsung Galaxy S3 Most Common
Problems and Solutions.
After entered the mobile market as the supposed iPhone killer, the Galaxy S3 from Samsung has done
more than held it own in the fast changing tech world. The number of S3 owners has steadily climbed and
shows no sign of stopping any time now, the average review from its owners have been quite favorable,
despite all that, there is no device on the planet Earth which shows a 100% satisfaction rate. Selling an
impressive 20 million units in $100 days shows how loved this device is and to top it off, its Google
Android OS has benefited enormously from the success of the handheld.
No matter the device or gadget you love and hold to the highest esteem, no one or any device is perfect,
lets look at the most common complains galaxy SIII owners talk about.
Audio and Mic
Having a conversation with a person and they cannot hear you or you them, is just plain frustrating with a
hint of annoying. For many persons, the speaker phone feature does not work and in some extreme cases
the audio goes out entirely. Some users have reported situations when the microphone goes on and off
creating a chipping situation and also cases when the phone signal dies immediately after a calls ..... guess
the phone gets tired too. When the microphone starts acting up, the first thing to do is to take a look at the
2. hole for the microphone and make sure there is nothing blocking it. If there is, then it can be removed by
either blowing it out with compressed air, play dough or that thing similar to play dough used to clean
your computer keys, restarting your phone is a temporary solution. Samsung has however put out a
firmware to fix these problems so they shouldn't be bothering you any longer.
OverHeating
This is another problem that users complain about. One has to remember that, running any device for a
prolonged period will cause it to heat up, especially if its a small device with a large battery, a big screen
and high powered components. The S3 could overheat after hours of uninterrupted gaming
or high graphics usage, in this case it is advised that you take breaks and allow the device to cool down. If
however, the device is overheating on standby mode or in low levels of usage, it is then advised that you
contact your retailer or carrier to check if the phone is faulty and in that case you should be able to get a
replacement.
Not Detecting or Dropping Wi Fi
In this situation, the first thing to do is to check your WiFi router before trying to alter any phone setting.
If however that does not solve the problem, the always useful yet temporary fix is to restart the device. So
another more permanent option is to go to Settings -WiFi hit the Menu button choose Advance and
make sure Keep WiFi During Sleep is set to Always . A OTA update can also solve this problem.
Vibration When Music Plays
This is common but the fix is so simple that it hardly considered a real problem. First go to Settings -
Sound and make sure the Auto Haptic button is off. There you go, its solved.
Copy and Paste doesn't Work
In the tech word today, the copy and paste option is a necessity and finding that it does not work on your
expensive S3 is not a dandy feeling. Some persons find that when they copy and then want to paste, there
is no option while others get a crash. Sadly the only option that Samsung currently has is to do a factory
reset, and it still does not guarantee a fix.
The Galaxy S3 is a wonderful smartphone but problems do occur in all our daily lives, follow us for more
