  9. 9. Prepending a permalink<br />In order to have a hyperlink work from off campus – that being a web address we have to prepend the link, meaning we have to add another web address or URL at the front of the link – here is how.<br />
  10. 10. Go back to the find articles page and Click On Badger Link<br />
  11. 11. When you right click on the badgerlink a menu will come up, select properties<br />
  12. 12. What I have circle is the part upu will need, at least up to the arrow, so you need to highlight and copy: http://www.ntc.edu:2048/login?url= and then you will need to add the persistent link from the article<br />Prepend<br />persistent link from the article<br />

  14. 14. OK, now you are off campus and you want to look up an article –this is a screen you will encounter – which will let you in to the library<br />
  15. 15. Enter your user name (your log in to use the NTC computers) and your password (your password to use the NTC computers) and this will take you to the article.<br />
