I am currently working for Coca-Cola Amatil in Brisbane where I have been since the start of 2016. After relocating
from Albury southern NSW for family. Unfortunately, my personal situation has changed and I will be relocating back
to Albury/Wodonga as soon as work is available.
I worked for Mars petcarefor nearly 5 years, and before that spent nearly 6 years at Boral Bricks. These roles I feel
have placed me in great position to be a great asset to the company. I served out my apprenticeship at Boral. Within
this time, I was placed in many difficult positions which included at times being in charge of the contractors I was
working under for legal reasons. On completion of the apprenticeship the head electrician and workshop manager
was fired and I was placed in charge. This I took as a great opportunity to challenge myself and show others that not
only am I team player but am more than capable of steeping up when it is needed. Whilst at Boral I had the
opportunity to design and install many improvements. This involved the mechanical & electrical design and install,
and also the software design and implementation. I was also heavily involved in investigating and implementing any
changes to site safety. This is something that I am very passionate about, as I believe the most important thing at any
workplace is to make sure everyone goes home safe.
In 2010 the opportunity to move to Mars Petcarearose. The chance to once again challenge myself this time on a
much more technical level was very appealing. The role of electrical support technician at Mars was the first time I
had done a rotating shift (night, Arvo, Day) at first this was seen as a possible challenge but one that I came to enjoy.
As family is very important to me and this allowed me to spend quality time with them whilst also allowing for extra
hours to be worked with little to no impact on family life. I was also a member of the Emergency Response Teamat
mars, this can range for coordinating the response to being a respondent to any emergency that may arise. Being a
part of this teamis something I take great pride in as it allows me to assist work mates to get home safe.
At Mars I had exposure to many different pieces of processing plant many of which I have outlined in my attached
resume.
It is with this experience and my drive to be the best I can be I feel I would be a great asset to the company. Please
find attached my resume. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I look forward to hearing
from you.
