The vast majority of people are never actually present.
This has a significant impact on their health and happiness.
They're primarily in their heads,
preoccupied with memories of the past or
concerns about the future.
They hardly ever pause to appreciate the present
moment.
We are agitated, anxious, unwell, and overwhelmed
as a result of our ongoing detachment from
ourselves and our bodies.
The head is spinning at 100 miles per hour.
It's giving an opinion about everything going on around
you and passing judgment on yourself and others.
Alternatively, the mind may be pondering the future.
It's worried about your to-do list, about your job,
about your relationship, about your family,
about your health, and about a million other things
that could go wrong.
You're never completely present,
never truly in the moment.
You're never really in your body, and you're
rarely genuinely connected to yourself.
Because we don't live our lives in the present, we
are always stressed, anxious, sad, worried,
concerned, and dissatisfied.
We aren't in touch with our higher selves, our souls,
or our intuition.
In our thoughts, we live fictitious lives at 100 miles per hour!
We hardly take the time to ask ourselves how we
genuinely feel on the inside.
Because our feelings are often painful,
we try to avoid them.
We push things away, don't feel them, don't process them,
and they become energetically lodged in the body.
These unresolved emotions and accompanying
cognitive habits
can lead to physical health issues over time.
In the present,
you are safe!
Being present is the key to getting better and
releasing the blocked emotions and obstacles
we've already built.
Connect with yourself by going inside and sensing,
observing, and breathing.
You are safe right now.
It can have a big
influence on your
general health and
wellness if you take a
few minutes each day to
be present and aware.
The past can't be
changed, and the future is
a mystery that can't be
predicted.
You'll want to focus most of your attention on the now
in order to set up the life you want to live,
moment by moment.
