2. TheDnister River is a river in Eastern Europe. It runs first through Ukraine and
then through Moldova finally discharging into the Black Sea on Ukrainian
territory again. Length — 1352 km. Originates in the Ukrainian Carpathians

From the Old Russian of words the name of the Dniester River is meant by the
"Prompt (fast) river"
4. In warm winters the river can not freeze in general, a freeze-up not long.
5. Inhabitants: There are a lot of fish in the Dniester . In head waters it:
trout, grayling. In lower reaches from the Black Sea the sturgeon and a
starred sturgeon enter Dniester. Also in the river constantly live: small
fry, pike, som, burbot, river flounder and others.
