"Clean City" project
Clean City - a smart city.
whether it is possible to rid the city of smog
and air pollution? - Forever!?
……………. Yes!!!!!
The relevance of the project
 Health Effects
 the impact on the climate
 economic costs to improve the ecology of
the city
 on medicine
The data of the World Health Organization
From the report of Dr. Maria Neira, Director of WHO's Department of Public Health
and Environment and the Social Determinants of Health. March 15, 2016
• Over 92% of the world's population live in areas where air pollution levels
exceed the limits defined by the World Health Organization.
• Six million people die annually due to poor air quality.
• Contaminated more than 90% of the Earth's air.
• Experts have come to this conclusion based on the analysis of data collected by
satellites and ground sensors with three thousand locations across the globe.
The data of the World Health Organization
• WHO experts have found no evidence that
face masks can effectively filter the polluted
air.
• Stay indoors and does not protect from smog
and other types of smoke of the city and its
surroundings.
The data of the World Health Organization
Each type has its smog-threatening effects on
the human body. Studies show that polluted air
affects the lung cells, causing dry throat,
respiratory tract irritation, decreased resistance
to bacteria, respiratory disorder, spasm of the
chest, dizziness.
The data of the World Health Organization
From photochemical smog affects not only humans and
plants, but the buildings and various materials.
Killed pets.
This is a real threat to the
development of children!
The data of the World Health Organization
The most acute problem in urban areas of
developing countries.
The impact on the climate
• Dirt accumulates in the upper atmosphere
and warm air creates a greenhouse effect
which affects climate change.
• It should also be noted that the resulting
clouds are mixed with hazardous substances
and industrial exhaust gas falls to the ground
as precipitation, which also negatively affect
the ecology of the earth.
Common methods of dealing with smog.
• Methods of struggle there is quite a lot, but almost every one of them
has its drawbacks, and some methods are not effective at all.
• To date there is no effective technology integrated solutions smog
problem.
A striking example of modern methods to combat the smog can be a
People's Republic, which is the industry leader in production and release of
hazardous substances. Create 5 wind corridor width of more than 500
meters each and a few corridors smaller width of about 80 meters, the fog
cannon, Skyscrapers, polivalki, drones killer smog, silver iodide, Life under
biokupolom, old car out of the law that made the mountains to the
ground, move the coal power plants, coal gasification, Creation of "eco-
city".
• Many of these methods are quite expensive and not effective, many of
them are even harmful to others is skeptical.
• These methods demonstrate the urgency of the problem and the
absence of an effective method to solve it.
There is a modern development on air pollution with the technical similarities:

«Smog Free Tower» - At the
end of 2015 launched by the
Dutch designer Daan
Roosegaarde.
It asked to fight smog by
installing street "vacuum
cleaners" on the principle of
electrostatic charges.
 No mathematical model.
 low-power and not efficient -
not because of knowledge of
physics of the process.
 stimated efficiency of the
plant is less than 1%
 It has a local functionality that
does not solve the problem at
the smog-wide level.
 expensive
 No filters are durable and
require systematic
replacement.
 model does not currently
incorporate the installation
directly in industrial plants
The project on Kickstarter site has managed to collect 113,000 euros - a
positive assessment of the utility.
• The capacity of a mounting height of 6 meters is sufficient for treatment of
30 thousand cubic meters of air per hour, creating at the site of its provisions
"bubbles" of clean air within 50 meters of the plant.
• By installing showed interest in Beijing, Mexico City, Los Angeles, Paris.
• June 28th Daan Roosegaarde Smog Free China launched a project with the
Chinese Ministry of Environmental Protection.
• Have attractive design that easily fits in a city park.

TRION products of the
American company for
industrial facilities and
interiors.
Universal electrostatic air
cleaner, can be installed
inside the living quarters on
the wall, embedded or
suspended from the ceiling.
These filters are served
and require periodic
replacement or cleaning
of coal mesh filter
elements, which leads to
a rise in price of the cost
of care. If individual
companies to conduct
such a service is not
difficult, then as the
number of filters and
their dispersal, it
becomes a significant
problem.
Industrial electrostatic filter. These filters clean the
polluted air and return it back
to a clean room.
Domestic air conditioners it is built in addition this type
of filter.
Description of "Clean City" project
• Know-how and the concept of the project has no analogues in the world, based on a
scientific theory and has clear advantages over existing developments.
• These filters can be any size, from filters for cars, small filters along the streets of the city
with the highest concentration of automobile flow to large installations in industrial plants
and CHP city. It is not practical to install a giant filter over the city, and therefore, it is
proposed to create a complete concept for cleaning the city of smog. The collected dirt can
simply be used in the construction.
• The project "Clean City" refers to a comprehensive solution to solve the air pollution problem
by creating a network of stations for air purification with the control and monitoring of the
program. The proposed network is capable of in-line mode, constantly clean the air,
regardless of the time of year.
• Innovative research project created by Kazakhstan scientists physicist Ildar
Ibragimov in 2002, envisages the creation of a clean city in any part of our planet.
• Сleaning efficiency reaches 99% of particles as small as 0.01 microns.
• In 2002, we created an electrostatic filter to capture fine sediment and exhaust flue gases of
vehicles and heating plants. Tests have been carried out, the results obtained and Kazakhstan
issued patent.
Description of "Clean City" project
The operating principle of the electrostatic filter.
• The operating principle of the electrostatic filter is that the slurry passes through a mesh pre-
filter, become electrically charged. Then, the charged particles fall into the collecting filter
section which are attracted to the negatively or the positively charged plates.
• Thus, the electrostatic filter collects particles PM2.5 and PM1.0, the most harmful to health.
Description of the project "Clean City"
Know-how of the project
The idea is that since it is impossible to create a single air-conditioned
city scale, it is necessary to create a network of small given power plants and
strategically place them on a map, taking into account areas of concentration
of hazardous substances.
1) The ideal filter based on scientific theory of thermodynamics,
maintenance, low cost of manufacture.
2) The mathematical model describing how could meteorological
phenomenon and the search for the theoretical conditions of their changes
on the basis of a thermodynamic model of the city - electronic map of the
city.
3) Local station for cleaning the air in an increased concentration of harmful
substances places - along roadways highways and intersections, industrial
facilities, power plants. Creating a network of stations based on electronic
maps of the city, with the management and monitoring of the program.
Description of the project "Clean City“
Know-how of the project
The project provides for the treatment of individual objects and sites,
and an entire city or country. The project does not matter the size of the city,
it can small industrial city or a huge metropolis with the presence of a large
industrial zone.
If the project will cover the full program of air purification of 100 cities,
it is a significant impact on the earth's environment and reduce the
greenhouse effect and temperature in the atmosphere, which has a positive
impact on climate change. The challenge to provide all the cities of the land is
quite realizable in the long term.

The proposal for the investor
Project duration: 24 months
The amount of the required funding: $ 1,300,000.0 (one million three hundred
thousand US dollars).
1. Stage. Creating a local installation, the sample to demonstrate the effectiveness.
The term of 6 months. - At this stage we can present and demonstrate a working
model on the international site of any level with the participation of experts:
international exhibitions, conferences, and more. - Alternative: know-how sale.
2. Stage. Creation of an industrial install. Duration 3 months - the same.
3. Stage. Creating a control and monitoring program (Remote wireless sensors).
Duration 3 months
4. Establishing release stations for clean air. Creating a network of stations: platform -
the city of Almaty, Kazakhstan (conclusion of the contract). (There is a
mathematical model, the know-how of the author) for 1 year.
One can consider several options for cooperation and implementation of the project:
• Sale of know-how.
• Creation of a manufacturing company (filters, installation).
• Establishment of an international clearing company.
• The creation of a joint venture with the help of a grant in Kazakhstan and the participation of the
investor.
The proposal for the investor.
Alternative option.
Сontracting with any city in the world at the stage of the project 18 months + (6 – 18) months. (18 +
6 18 = 24 -36 months). At 24-36 months, the project can proceed to the stage of execution and the
long-term maintenance of the contract of a megacity.
• Each such city provides the budget for the solution of environmental problems. Megapolis once
can make investments, short-term contract to sign and get rid of smog. A positive example of
one city may incentive for replication in other cities.
• Network stations will be owned by the city, and after the end of the contract, independently to
monitor and air purification.
If the city can not pay the cost of the contract: Alternatives:
• start with one object, street, district.
• Long-term contract with the city = futures. The production costs of a network of stations can
take over the investment company (the international cleaning company) - access to the stock
market. Network stations will be owned by the shareholders, and the city for a few years to pay
for services.
At this stage - 18 months, the project can begin a new phase: the active positioning in the
international market and attract additional investments for further development.
• The fourth option: Creation of joint venture with the help of a grant in Kazakhstan and the
participation of the investor. Our company in anticipation of the announcement of competition
state institutes of development of Kazakhstan to promote innovative projects. The participation
of the investor can be enough funding in the amount of $ 200,000.0 (two hundred thousand US
dollars). Project duration will be 36 months.
The project may forever have to rid the citizens from the smog and create an
acceptable low level of contamination. The project is capable, in conjunction with the
existing in the world methods of treatment and prevention to create clean air, to
become a real step towards a clean ecological environment on Earth.
