2. Tip 1
Big things start with small beginnings
You may have great skills, but until you build your reputation as a
Freelancer, it’s better not to expect big earnings right away.
Start out with small simple jobs.
Once you get a few cheap jobs behind you, and build up your profile with
great feedback from previous hirers, then you can start to raise your prices.
3. Tip 2
Go for it!
Many newbies send multiple responses and wait to be invited to work.
It's pointless. You need to send as many responses as possible and keep
doing it until you finally get hired.
This can take days or even weeks, just keep it up and don’t stop!
4. Tip 3
Be sure in your success
Yes, success does not come immediately. Yes, you will have to work
diligently towards it. There will be ups and downs. But if you are not ready to
go forward and do not believe in yourself, then it is better not to waste your
time.
5. Tip 4
Believe in yourself
It may seem to you that you are not experienced enough and it looks
obvious. Even so, you shouldn't show it right away. Keep in mind that
customers appreciate not only experienced, but also self-confident
freelancers. By saying that you are the beginner you are simply showing the
white flag.
6. Tip 5
Determine the scope of work correctly
If you bite off more work then you can chew you may find yourself in the
situation that you simply cannot cope with. Failing to meet the deadlines will
instantly decrease your reputation as a freelancer, which will require more of
your time to earn it back again.
