An ESSAR Enterprise

                      SAP – Business Intelligence
Fierce competition is making enterprises think beyond squeezing more efficiencies and productivity
gains from operations. It is pushing business enablers to make informed and timely decisions. This
needs enterprises to transform the in-house data in intuitive dashboards, which can give greater
analytical insights to make well-informed decisions.

We at AGC, help our customers to gain the right BI quotient and transform volumes of data into
decision drivers. With a team of SAP BI/BO experts, having deep domain experience, we add
value to the decision making ability of the enterprises.

Solution Overview

Business Intelligence (BI) platform can be leveraged in multiple ways to enhance the performance
of an enterprise and make it agile improve throughput, uncover trends, discover variances and
predict business opportunities. The different dimensions in which BI platform can be used are:
   1. Dashboards: Provide personalized views into key performance indicators (KPIs) across the
enterprise. These dynamic and interactive dashboards provide insights into real-time data
and can be used to keep the enterprise health in check.

   2. Enterprise Reports: Provides detailed reports to key decision makers. The data produced
by these reports are consumed by the decision makers throughout the enterprise; e.g.
inventory and shelf life reports for retail operations across the outlets, operational efficiency
      of a manufacturing operation etc.
   3. Analytics: An analytics tool provides the option to slice and dice data. Business users can
view data about specific operation or department. It also provides the ability to uncover
      trends prevailing in market.

SAP Business Intelligence Page 1
An ESSAR Enterprise
   4. Actionable BI: Business strategies depend on metrics that make sense of data and
present it in ways that can trigger decisions. The ability to access in real time the data
stored in a business warehouse and interact with users on the move gives them the power
to take informed decisions. This makes the organization more agile and responsive leading
      to faster results.
   5. In-Memory BI (SAP-HANA): Enhances the performance standards of all the BI reports. It
increases the capacity of the system to respond to more users with larger data in less
turnaround time. This enhances the ability of business users to take decisions faster by
providing them quicker real time insights and the ability to carry out rapid analysis and
      reporting.
   6. Voluminous Data: Enterprises are now required to manage large volumes of complex data
effectively. Regardless of where it is stored, BI gives unified access to all sources. This
makes it easier to access and analyse data.

AGC Business Intelligence Offerings
The enterprises have digitized key business functions, but the biggest challenge they face is lack of
intelligence across these functions. This gap arises due to number of factors shown in the diagram.
A successful BI implementation weaves a ‘Web’ around these functions to provide actionable
intelligence to business users.
