3. Steps for filling JEE Advanced Application Form

4. Step 1-Visit OfficialWebsite
• Visit the official website of JEE Advanced i.e. www.jeeadv.ac.in/
• Go to ‘Examination’ tab and click Registration
• The Application Form of JEE Advanced can be filled fromApril 28, 2017 onwards

5. Step 2- Enter JEE Main Roll No. & Date of Birth
• Candidates will be eligible for registration on the basis of their JEE
Main Result
• Candidates must enter JEE Main 2017 Roll Number and Password
• Select a new password for JEE Advanced
• After this, candidate will be redirected to a page that contains the
personal and academic details

6. How to reset your Password?
• Applicants can use the security question and its answer chosen during
filling JEE Advanced 2017 registration form.
OR
• The verification code sent via text message to registered mobile
number of candidate
OR
• A reset link sent via Email to the registered Email address of
candidate

7. Step 3- Fill-in Personal Details
Write about:
• Personal details (name, age, gender)
• Academic Details
• Educational/ Income details of Parents
• Address details
• JEE Main application number (if applicable)
• Mention the number of attempts
• Select the JEE Advanced Exam Centre.
• Select the question paper language either Hindi or English.
• If a candidate falls in Defence Services category, then they are required to mention it
• If a scribe is required by a candidate, mention it

8. Step 4- Upload Documents, Photograph & Signature

Latest coloured passport size photograph 10 KB to 100 KB in Jpeg format
Left hand thumb impression 5 KB to 30 KB, in Jpeg format
Scanned copy of Signature 5 KB to 30 KB, in Jpeg format
Registration certificate/admit card/mark sheet of
10th class
50 KB to 300 KB, in Jpeg format
Category certificate – SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B 50 to 300 KB, in Jpeg format
PwD certificate 50 to 300 KB, in Jpeg format

9. Step 5- Payment of Application Fee
• After filling the JEE Advanced application form, pay application fee
• Application fee varies according to candidate’s category

2. Paper 2 - (2:00 pm to 5:00 pm)
