The Texas STaR Chart is as assessment to help a
campus, district, and the state learn current
educational profile, demonstrate progress
towards the goals of the Long-Range Plan for
Technology, and provide areas of focus for
improvement.

Each cell is given a score from 1 (lowest) to 4 (highest) and totaled.

classified as advanced tech, which is
on par with the statewide results.
• One area of focus should be on
increasing the score in teaching and
learning by utilizing technology more
effectively in the learning process.
• We also need to focus on improving
educator technology development
through an increased concentration
in technology-based staff
development sessions.
