Metallica and Dr.Dray have both taken Napster to court for the distribution of their music illegally and have had it shut down.

Cory Doctorow's ``Why I Copyfight?'' ``If it wasn't for copying on the internet there wouldn't be culture'' Doctorow suggests that by file sharing and downloading we are discussing and experiencing new things. This builds on developing culture and within this culture would be hindered. Culture is shared information which then leads to the positive aspects of looking at illegal downloading and file sharing.
