2. BASE METAL:
Base metals, we maintain our mixed approach in the segment wherein we like nickel and
zinc for going long. For Aluminum, as said in morning, the trend is bullish backed by its
intrinsic fundamentals however the commodity looks a bit overbought and thus we
recommend buying only on declines today. Copper could also be a buy however, gains may
remain capped following weaker Chinese monthly import data.

BULLION:
Asian equities finished on a mixed note though major European gauges are trading in the red with
the worst performer being London’s FTSE, losing over 1%. FTSE fell as markets feared about the
probability that Scotland in its “Vote of Independence” might go against continuing as a part of the
UK.
In commodities, Bullion was little changed as markets await fresh triggers. Bias continue to remain
on the negative side wherein we recommend selling the same on higher levels for small targets
today.
ENERGY:
In Energy, we saw smart movement happening in WTI which as per the latest quote was trading
lower by 0.7% $92.65 per barrel mark wherein during intraday it also touched $92.34 per barrel
level. We continue with our selling stance in the commodity on back of seasonally weaker demand
period in the US, good supply globally and weaker set of Chinese Trade balance number today
morning. Also, traders should closely watch the trend in Brent as WTI is simply following the broad
direction set in by the international benchmark lately. Brent today lost around a percent.
