The milk of goat D contains the spider silk protein. Goat C gives birth to a transgenic goat (goat D) - it's DNA contains the spider silk gene. The egg cell from goat B and nucleus containing the silk gene are fused. The silk gene is cut out of the spider's DNA. The protein is extracted from the milk and spider silk is formed. An egg cell is taken from goat B and enucleated. A body cell is removed from goat A and the nucleus removed (enucleation). The embryo is put into the uterus of goat C.
