2. Genre
This song’s genre is a combination of break beat, house and drum and bass, which
all fall under the category of electronic music genre. Break beat which is a sub-
genres of electronic music. The rhythms are characterized as intense use of
syncopation and polyrhythm's and usually the “break” in the melody allows the
rhythm of the beat or soloist to play unaccompanied, which is evident throughout
the entire song. This songs genre is similar to acts such as Pendulum and The
Prodigy as they possessed elements of electro music as well as drum and bass.
However the vocalist, Maverick Sabre being associated with genres such as RnB, folk
and rap help to create a modern flare causing you to think of artists’ such as
Professor Green, Plan B and Ed Sheeran.
3. Inspirational Ideas
We wanted to create very fluid movement throughout the entire music video
therefore we intend to create a conceptual, performance based video insuring
that whilst there is an overall theme, there are shots that constantly return back
to a band performingacting as a basis for the performance part of the video.
We wanted to have an effect that would involve scenarios happening inside
people’s eyes and wanted to use this concept revolving around “Fire in your
eyes” and rather than taking a literal interpretation we wanted to connote a
sense of anger, passion, fury and all of these emotions would be shown within
the different frames.
In addition we would use time manipulating effects in order to match with the
rhythm of the beat as well as engage the audience.
Furthermore we feel as if the software after effects would prove to be quite
useful as we did want to include visual effect including realistic fire effects,
possible explosions etc. Full of effects!!

the theories concerning “2012”.
4. Artists’ Image
Stars Persona:
•Due to the fact that the soundtrack has a combination of different genres within
it we wanted the star to be very versatile when it came to being instrumentally
gifted personifying the sense that he as an individual is primarily focused on the
quality of the music in which he produces, rather than focusing on his personal
image. This would allow him to be a lot more relatable to a target audience as he
would come from the same type of environments they would be brought up.
•In addition the lifestyle of our artist would be quite hectic as he would be a
“wild child” and a very sexually active person, making him seem like a person
who enjoys life and live in the moment.
Costume:
•He would be very up to date and “swagged” when it came to fashion, usually
promoting various top name brands. However he would also wear very simplistic
items of clothing such as jeans, hoodies, jogging bottoms etc.
5. Target Audience
Primary audience
When it comes to the target audience they would be females aged 15 –
26 and they would consist of a range of different ethnicities. This would
be due to the fact that members of the band including the main vocalist
would be a mixture of different ethnicities ensuring that the demographic
can be much larger than just targeting one race. The social class in which
the targeted audience would appear on the socio-economic scale are C2, D
and E, which are the middle and lower class. The existing media
consumption in which the audience would watch or listen to would vary
when it comes to either radio, television, or music. An example of these
types of media would be “The Big Bang Theory”, “Family Guy”, “Sex and
the City”,
