which resulted in the removal of the closure mandate.

Responsible for all physicians relationships, including recruiting for medical coverage of all
subspecialties
Responsible for all Imaging Services at the 5 Kaleida facilities
Upon my arrival at DeGraff in 2009, I was tasked with developing a Strategic Plan to present to the
NYS Department of Health demonstrating community need and financial viability for this hospital. In
October 2010, I presented a plan to the NYS Department of Health to develop a comprehensive
Geriatric Center at DeGraff based on the aging demographics of the community, and the need for
emergency services within this community. On December 13, 2010, the NYS Department of Health
removed the time limit on the operating certificate, thus eliminating the plans for hospital closure.
