Students will create a PowerPoint project on a mystery element. Teachers will regularly check in with students to ensure they are making progress on assignments and mastering science standards. Students will take notes in interactive notebooks during lessons and submit them weekly for feedback. Students will sign up for conferences with teachers after completing graphic organizers for their slides to ensure the content and writing are accurate. Exit slips after each lesson will record student questions, feedback, and progress.

Using Blackboard Learn alongside Microsoft OneNote: the overlaps, the complem...
Beginning in 2016, Nossal High School began to focus its professional learning for staff on the use of Microsoft OneNote as complementary teaching and learning software to the MH Blackboard Learn environment we have run for the last 5 years. In this time, the speed and depth of the take up of OneNote and its impact on the teaching and learning experience of staff and students has been dramatic. Not only have our students fully embraced OneNote from a learners' perspective, all teaching and support staff are using Microsoft OneNote to record their own professional development, maintaining an ongoing conversation with the college executive and collecting evidence for their personal records.
This rapid adoption has forced us to consider closely what OneNote elements overlap with Bb Learn, which features are complementary with Bb Learn and ultimately, what part these two software solutions will have within our overall teaching and learning program.
During the presentation, I will be looking at the features of Bb Learn and OneNote that we intend to keep unique to each environment, as well as the elements that we are comfortable in having some overlap. Our overall aim is to ensure we are promoting to staff the most effective software solution for any given purpose whilst ensuring our students are not confused about the location of resources and information from class to class.
I will conclude with what we currently see as the most effective arrangement for the use of these two software packages going forward.
The Technology Process
This document outlines the process of technological practice which involves brief development, outcome development and evaluation, and planning. It discusses the components of practice including developing an initial and final brief with a conceptual statement and specifications. The planning process is explained involving creating timelines, milestones and consulting stakeholders. LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UP
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and

Laura Zinser Tech Unit Formative Assessment Mystery Element PowerPoint Project As students work through this project there will be constant teacher check in to assure students are moving forward not only in completing the assignment, but also that the science standards are being mastered along the way. Student note taking will occur during direct instruction lessons and be placed in their Interactive Student Notebooks (ISN). Once a week, students will turn in their ISN for written feedback/evaluation. Constant teacher walkabouts during class work time will ensure students are on task and moving forward on the assignment. Students will sign up for an individual student/teacher conference when the graphic organizer for their slides is completed. This conference will ensure students have all the necessary information to complete the computer-based activity. It will also make sure that the content is accurate and the writing structure contains complete sentences and proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation. After each lesson, exit slips will be used to obtain student questions, concerns, content feedback, or ideas and will serve as a record of individual student progress on the unit components.
