Professional Experience
May 2015 – Present KUS USA: Applications & Integration Mechanical Engineer
 Technical integration liaison between OEM clients & overseas production facility, along with business expansion into
automotive, heavy equipment, and power generation industries. Direct report to President.
 Implemented order tracking system that drastically reduced the amount of errors, and facilitated finding the
underlying causes to determine corrective solutions and preventative actions for the process.
 Taught production and QA personnel how to use and calibrate precision gauging tools for component inspection, and
designed fixtures that reduced inspection times and improved process efficiency.
May 2014 – May 2015 G3 Engineering Design: Product Design & Development Engineer
 Designed, tested, & validated products for consumer and manufacturing applications. Direct Report to Chief Engineer.
 Implemented a project tracking system, and then organized meetings with team members to delegate tasks in order
to align with project milestones & deadlines.
 Created a process that documents changes to CAD models, drawing revisions, BOMs, and Routing Slips, readily
reducing time required to compile project package deliverables.
 Developed a custom machine that, when installed at client’s manufacturing facility, reduced production lead times by
30%, and removed sources of human-error from the process.
May 2013 – Aug 2013 SAIC: NASA KSC Mechanical Engineering RMA Intern
 Simulated subsystem dependability by modelling Reliability Block Diagrams, performing Fault Tree Analyses, and
removing redundancies, then compiled presentations for Engineering Leads in NASA's GSDO program.
 Helped improve dependability of a plant-growth chamber system bound for the ISS.
Feb 2012 – Aug 2014 Huntington Learning Center: SAT Math & K-12 Subject Math Tutor
 Created a comprehensive SAT Math formula sheet & study guide as supplementary material for my students.
 Improved student scores by 20 points on average, one grateful student was accepted by their first choice college.
Aug 2009 – Aug 2012 YoFresco: Maintenance & Service Technician
 Implemented Cleaning, Inspection, & Maintenance Cycles for all kitchen & frozen yogurt appliances.
 Created visual guides that illustrated workplace organizational methods to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
Education
Aug 2007 – Dec 2013 Florida International University
 BS in Mechanical Engineering. Coursework included undergraduate research projects, computer science,
programming, and ethics, arts, and literature courses at the FIU Honors College. GPA: 3.34
 Studied Japanese Language and Culture at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan - Summer 2009
