South Africa's has a unique set of social and economic problems that have a negative and regressive impact on our people, environment and economy. These have been perpetuated by factors like the continued social and economic imbalance in SA post 1994, a failing education system and global markets dictating placing immutable pressure on the cost of living. CSI money is not a sustainable solution, it’s slow to respond and hard to convert into real and impactful social good. We have the potential to harness our shared values, collective skills, resources and creativity to form these impactful solutions. But we need a way to collaborate and give businesses and people a voice. These can be used to drive innovation in both businesses and communities.
