This document discusses the security of salvation. It explains that salvation requires repentance from sin and faith in Jesus Christ, who lived a perfect life, died for our sins, and rose again. Having faith means inviting Jesus to govern our lives. Our security depends on God, not our feelings, which can change. We must trust that God is able through Christ to keep us saved until eternity based on His promises and faithfulness. The document reassures the reader that if they have repented and believed, their salvation is secure in God.
Many people think they will go to heaven because they have lived a good life. Perhaps, they treat all of their neighbors fairly. Maybe they volunteer for charity work and have never broken the law. Maybe they were even baptized or go to church regularly. But the Bible, God's Word, says that no one can live up to God's standard of righteousness.
This Roman Road as laid out in scripture is God’s plan of salvation set forth in Paul’s letter to the Romans. The following scriptures build a beautiful road to Jesus Christ.

What does it take to begin a relationship with God? Devote yourself to unselfish religious deeds? Become a better person so that God will accept you?
You may be surprised that none of those things will work. But God has made it very clear in the Bible how we can know Him.
The following principles will explain how you can personally begin a relationship with God, right now, through Jesus Christ...
The temptation is one of the most familiar experiences of a true child of God and no one can totally escape from it. Even our Lord Jesus Christ was tempted (Matt 4:1, Heb 4:15). This is why the Lord taught us to include it in our daily prayer.
When we hear the phrase "Life After Death", we mediately get the idea of a cosmic heaven. What if Jesus was impressing on us the cycle of life and death and the power of an eternal creation?

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…
The Book of Joshua is the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and is the first book of the Deuteronomistic history, the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile.
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Lesson 1
Your Security of Salvation
Verse to remember John 5:24, 3:16
In this first lesson we will be covering the security of your salvation. In first place you will
discover the conditions of salvation in the book of Acts 20:21: ‘repentance toward God’ and
‘faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ’.
Repentance toward God signifies you are aware that you sinned and that your sins
separated you from God. The way you repent is by confessing your sins to God and ask for
forgiveness. You must have the desire to leave your sinful life behind and change your way of
living. But you will realize when you get to this point in your decision that its something you
won’t be able to do on your own. Your own strength won’t be enough to change old habits. If
you are willing to change you will need help, some one that has overcome sin and has power.
The only one that has demonstrated such power is Jesus Christ. Only has Jesus lived a
perfect life in this world, He has overcome all temptations and has completed the law of God. In
the end He gave His perfect life for the punishment do to us and suffered on the cross as
payment of our sins (John 1:1,14; 1 Peter 2:22,24; Romans 6:23). And after the third day Jesus
rose from the dead showing us He has more power then sin and death. Colossians 2:13-15
When we believe that Jesus lived, died and resurrected for us and when we invite Him
into our hearts as all powerful Lord and to govern our lives, we have faith in Him. And God
responds to our faith by entering us and forgiving us of our sins and changing our lives by the
power of the Holy Spirit. John 14:16-17
Also to have security in your salvation you must trust God. This is where many people
fail. Instead of putting their trust in God for their security in salvation they confide more in their
own emotions. When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you probably had a
beautiful moment of emotions; feelings of peace or joy and it is very reasonable that it was like
that. And our emotions our affected by our salvation in Jesus and its part of our humanity. But
we must acknowledge that our sentiments can easily change. So if you has repented and
accepted Jesus Christ and a little after you don’t feel joy or peace like in the start of your
relationship with the Lord. Does that mean you lost your salvation? No! Your security in
salvation does not depend on your feelings. It all depends on God. In Him you must trust.
2. Trust in God is being confident that He is all powerful Almighty God. We see the apostle
Paul in 2 Timothy 1:12’ For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not
ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I
have committed to Him until that Day.’ Just like Paul you have made a decision to follow Jesus.
Therefore should confine the eternity of your soul in Him. And like Paul be confident in the
Lords ability to keep you committed till the end. Philippians 1:6
In John 10:27-30 the Lord affirms those who believe in him are His sheep. It all so
states “ my sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them
eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them
out of My Father’s hand.” Yes your salvation is very secure. In the book of Jude verse 24 it
reads “ Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless
before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy…’.
We also must trust in God’s faithfulness to his promises to us. Hebrews 10:24 says “ Let
us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.” In
John 3:16 God confirms we have eternal life when we accept Jesus by faith. Matthew 28:20
says ‘I am with you always, even to the end of the age’. Lets now look at John 5:24 “Most
assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting
life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life”. Is the Lord able to
Lie? Of course not! Have confidence than that He will be faithful to fulfill His promises. Because
you have trusted Him, He has given you eternal life. And because you have believed in Him, you
have passed from death to eternal life, you no longer are condemned. The faithfulness of the
Lord is the guarantee of your security in salvation.
Dear brothers and sisters you must be confident you are saved. I hope you have enjoyed
this lesson and that it has helped you understand your security and that you can enjoy it. But
this is only the start. There are more exciting things the Lord wants you to know of your new
life in Him. In the next lesson we will learn about how Christ lives in us.
