Yoga to Enhance Eyesight
With the rise of engineering, our eyes are often being overworked. In yoga, an ancient process of
holistic health, eye workouts are performed to improve vision and overall wellness of the eyes.

Clock gazing exercise is an eye exercise practiced at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center in Nyc to
improve the general well-being of the eyes. To perform clock gazing exercise, begin in a comfortable
seated posture. Hold your body and head entirely still and envision there is a large clock facing you.

Palming

Circles
To perform the circles eye workout, keep your eyes open and begin to rotate your eyes slowly in a

three complete circles and repeat in a counterclockwise motion. This eye exercise can improve your
eyesight by maintaining the muscles of your eyes toned.
Tips and Considerations
Relaxing in a yoga pose known as Savasana with your eyes closed will give your eyes the rest they
want. Just lay on your back and allow your arms and legs to fall-out naturally to the sides. What you
consume may also impact your vision. They advocate eating nuts, corm, broccoli, spinach and
strawberries.
